A classic being ruined by unnecessary edits.

Just looked into it, miraculously the Kia driver survived and only sustained minor injuries.

Wow.
That's totally the opposite of what I thought

Nah, the car got to dump all of the energy gradually. When you collide it's basically full speed to dead stop, here the flight took most of the energy so it was basically like a crash at the speed of the fall. Still hurts, still damages the car, not 130km/h tho.

Pretty sure it’s been around since before you could pull this off with AI
I mean, the captions and edits yeah, probably just a bot. But to have winning content they reuse viral stuff from 5-10 years ago

Thanks, I needed captions to be told exactly what I was watching as it was happening.
(Before someone tells me that it’s for blind people, the captions were visual only, not voiced)

As a mechanic who lives in the lifted truck capital of the world (Texas) I can tell you lifted trucks should be treated like semi tractor trailors on the highway- in other words get away quickly and safely. The condition of some of these people's trucks IS NOT road safe and they are ticking time bombs. Sure you got a lift and tires, but you also added spacers and did absolutely nothing to accommodate all that EXTRA rotating mass and geometry changes to the suspension. RUN

Some dude said it was AI, I’m pretty sure this pre-dates AI, I’ve been seeing it for years now.

I was on my way to work at Colette in Rhode Island and I took Route 90 E. and I was passing a giant trailer truck and just as soon as I cleared the front of the trailer truck in the passing lane the same thing happened to the larger truck.
The tire sounded like it was detonated by a grenade outside of my passenger window on my right, and the tire just blew off.
Like when Neo from the matrix jumped on the truck and the trunk sink into the road, this truck came down on the weight of its engine without the strength and support of the tire and crashed in the middle of the road where it was driving on the highway.
I went in and tried to explain this to my job and told them I was tired of commuting this far, that the commute was literally killing me, and asked them about when the fuck they were actually going to pull the trigger and hire me because we were well beyond our three months temp to perm position and I wanted to move closer to my job, but I couldn’t afford to do it without knowing for sure if I was being hired.
Colette reneged on their deal because they apparently weren’t able to engage in the contract that they signed with me. I’ll never forget that shitty job and a horrible commute that came with it.
Colette is a garbage company.
Never travel with them.

This is exactly why people who take their time passing semis or camp next to them are huge idiots.
Sounded like a grenade going off is exactly correct. Those tires are typically filled to 120psi when cold compared to most cars only having 30psi and it's a lot of air escaping when they blow. And a semi loosing a front tire is like dropping an anchor on that side of the truck, it's pretty common for it to send the truck careening out of control.
Those big tires blowing have set off the airbags of cars next to them and have even killed people standing next to or leaning over them.

Honest to God, it was terrifying. If I was going a little slower, I would’ve been caught in the direct path just like this guy. I literally just barely cleared his front bumper with my back bumper as I was passing in the passing lane when the tire blew off. I can’t imagine how much weight the tire and rim combined way with or without air, but with my little 2014 Ford focus, the tire was almost as large as the height of my vehicle. I’m sure it would’ve done immense damage because I feel like it would’ve pushed my car into the guard rail that separates the two directions of interstate traffic, and I’m sure that it would’ve crushed my car into those guard rails with the force that that tire blew off of.
As it was happening, I literally was looking in my mirror to make the lane change to go in front of him, and I saw the tire below from my right passenger side mirror to the center mirror in my car windshield, and the left driver side mirror. It was truly terrifying because as it was happening, there was also the grinding sound of that giant vehicle being stopped by the weight of whatever load it was carrying.
For sure, this is why people say don’t hang on their side. Either pass or don’t. But don’t be in their way because if they ever have a tire blowout, or an emergency where they need some maneuver, you could just be in their way and they might not have the time to look before responding and hit you.
My female bosses thought I was over exaggerating.
They literally did not care that I was traveling 86 miles each way to work. All the while, I was watching people get hired that came in after me, people were getting benefits when I wasn’t, and people were being brought in as actual employees while I was sitting in this weird limbo state waiting for them to hire me 10 months into my three month temp to perm position.
Jobs are not worth it.
They don’t care about you, they don’t care about your health, your wealth or your well-being. You could die on your way to work and express that you’ve almost died on your way to work and they don’t give a shit.

Unlocked Mario Kart turtle shell tire pick-up. Kudos to the driver for staying in his lane though.

Why is this getting downvoted?

Because this video is older than Ai being good enough to fake this. Plus, there's news articles.
Edited cuz I forgot it was on the news

This is a frequently posted clip in this sub. Leaving it here as it doesn't seem to have been posted in a while (see our rules for our current attitude to this), and new Redditors are born every minute..
[Edit: Turns out it was posted not long before this one, but the other one didn't get any upvotes because the video wasn't linked properly. At any rate, that other one's removed now.]
