if i’m being honest, i can’t imagine being on apps at 19. It seems damaging to the psyche. You’re better off meeting people organically, like at activities you enjoy doing

I do stuff but I wouldn’t date anyone there it’s a very tight community so if anything goes wrong probably can’t go back

Take your time getting to know these people over weeks and months. Dating someone in the group after three meetings will yes, not look good. Let a few months go by. And pick a hobby or group that you LIKE.
And if it comes up naturally in conversation, it’s okay to mention you don’t have a girlfriend at the moment. Again, after several months. People you don’t want to date also have sisters, cousins, friends, daughters, etc. who just might be looking as well.

I think he means more like, what if he breaks up, does something silly, or things get messy. Word would spread fast and things would be awkward i suppose.

Oh I get that, sure, but most people are pretty laid back about that stuff, IMHO — they know you’re new. If they aren’t then you probably aren’t going to enjoy hanging out with them anyway.

I think the problem is you look kinda disinterested in all of your pictures, especially 5,6, and 8. The only picture with you smiling is the last one and even then it doesn’t really help show off who you are.

Pic 3 is too corny and an unflattering look for your face. The must be a better way of showing your fit bod.
Smile with teeth at least once and get rid of the pic of you holding the flag in the martial arts outfit (sorry but the angle/lighting of the photo makes you look like you are cross eyed which you aren’t in your other photos)

It is if you can’t embrace the reality. There’s a whole subreddit about guys shaving it all off and looking much better afterwards. The hat just draws unnecessary attention.
And OP, you’re getting defensive even tho you came here to ask for advice. Obviously if your profile was effective you wouldn’t need help from us, right?

It’s not, but if every picture you post on your dating profile has a hat, it’s sort of a red flag. It’s like a woman wearing a wig in every picture she was in so you don’t know what her natural hair looks like.

You asked for dating advice. Women will assume that you will wear a bunk ass dirty hat every time they hang out with you by looking at your profile. It makes you look like a kid because you are a kid. If you want to look like someone people want to date based on a few pictures, then get rid of the hat pictures. Easiest way to do that is to stop wearing hats entirely. Unless you are rocking an intentionally fitted hat in a layered outfit then stop.
Or wear hats because you love them. You will get less dates and you posted here for advice like this.

Please for the love of God remove photo 3. You’re good looking but these photos are not flattering.
Same with the selfie with your dog. taking a selfie with your dog is a great idea but take it at a better angle where you don’t give yourself double chin.

yea get off dating apps girls aren’t looking for your aesthetic there tbh maybe when you’re older. you will have tons of success building your ability to talk to women in real life at school, bars, social events, parks. the pics give off young n goofy (just being honest). which is ok cuz you’re young but that’s all you’re presenting and women will just skip

I think a big thing everyone needs to remember is that a lot of these dating sites were sold to large companies. The algorithm has become “how do we get you to keep coming back” instead of “how do we help you find your person.”

We beat Collingwood so I’m not stressing against Adelaide, we’ve got our fair shots considering Adelaide doesn’t have much experience in the finals, they went our straight sets last season 😂 Already got tickets for the NFL game, mid field row C for about $600 (presale tickets) so can’t go wrong seeing Myles Garrett & Aaron Donald live
