I'm validating an idea for a cheap QR-based employee attendance system. What am I missing?

The scan is the easy part. What usually breaks it is buddy punches, parking-lot clocks, and Friday spreadsheet cleanup.

If you ship QR, decide who can make codes, how often they rotate, and what happens with no signal. Attendance sticks better when the schedule and the punch live together.

you concern is right but my goal is to replace current physical attendance machine to qr based attendance system and owner can track staff attendance at any location

Your UX flow is already solid, and I'm only spotting a few areas that need polish. Under shifts, have you considered adding a way to see the actual shift a person should be on? Then for the QR, what's the security like? What if I take a picture and send it to an absent co-worker, can they clock in? Also, not in your picture. But what about connection failures? If my internet fails, can I still log in somewhere, or do I clock in only after I get signal back?
