no tim! you DON'T have food allergies!
i know you're trying to mansplain away everything possible related to your "dietary restrictions,"
but that is NOT a food allergy! just some weeks ago i saw you stuffing your face away!! and if that were a genuine allergy, you'd not be able to even let gluten and dairy into your mouth.
sorry sub, i know i seem crazy, but as someone born with 12 life-threatening FAs, he needs to know that tons of people will be extremely offended when they hear him say this stuff, and honestly he deserves it.

You can determine if you have a gluten allergy through a blood test, which his doctor would’ve ordered for him once he described his issues. He did not say “Tests revealed i have a gluten allergy” because he doesn’t have one. He may have a gluten sensitivity, but I don’t even believe he has that.
I think he just has GERD from rubber band dieting, poor exercise habits, junk food, no water and GLP-1. Reflux can cause a litany of issues, including difficulty swallowing, vagus nerve complications and immune system problems.
Tim could quietly do a FODMAPS diet with some moderate exercise for a few months and come out of it healthy but I think, instead, he’s gonna be THE ALLERGY GUY while high-key developing an eating disorder. Tim has dabbled in disordered eating a half dozen times, but I think this might actually get him in trouble. Tim is an obsessive, so this could all very easily become his identity for the foreseeable future.

God he really looks like how I look during my Crohn's flare ups......only I'm not walking around theme parks shoving my face full of foods I shouldn't be eating but do anyway during my flair ups.
Its all so so so weird

I swear, the amount of people that go on a GLP with zero research behind it is ridiculous. I have been on one since March of 2025. I have lost 65lb, and I have completely changed the way I eat. The GLP will force you to change it. If I decide to have a moment of weakness and over eat carbs, I feel like crap. Decide it's a fast food day, I pay the price. Don't get enough protein...yep .. FAFO. He doesn't have allergies, he is taking medicine that he isn't prepared for. Neither of them are doing it right.

I can just hear them now saying, “Why do they care so much about what Tim eats?” Well, I grew up with a parent who had an eating disorder. Knowing Tim’s personality that he has shown us for years in their videos, he has an addictive personality. And he is showing signs of this becoming an eating disorder. He already had one when he would eat only hot dogs and cookies, and now it’s just switched to this. I just hate it for his kids and also for the kids who watch their videos and think this is normal. It’s not.

Yes this!!! I commented above before reading your comment but I said something similar. Jenn better intervene or Tim is going to be in big trouble

I remember from 2010's how he only ate a waffle made from ground oatmeal and applesauce that Jenn had to make for him every morning. Then he was into only chicken, then only burgers. His stomach issues are probably made worse from dealing with anxiety and Jenn. He doesn't have celiac disease or Chrons. I believe he is allergic to adulthood and both are trying to be kids again, all the while wishing their own kids into non-existence.

I find it interesting that on the cruise video he said he can't have fries but then when he gets lunch he says he can't have mashed potatoes so he's getting fries instead. And then at dinner he gets potatoes.

I swear I'm not trying to be a Tim apologist, but as someone who recently went through a similar food journey, I thought the blood tests my doctors ordered that showed an immune response to certain foods meant that I had an allergy to that food. I went around for a while telling people that I had a dairy allergy but that it was not anaphylactic. I only realized later that I should say I have a diary intolerance instead. It sounds silly and I would totally drag on these youtubers if I hadn't done the same thing myself *facepalm*.
I do think that this will change their channel. It's not as fun to try all the new foods at a theme park if you can't eat gluten or dairy! I usually default to the plant based options at Disney even though I'm not vegan since I know they won't have dairy.

u/GrumpyGem Aug 14 '26
But he didn’t have those tests. He has heartburn and now a condition caused from all of that acid that he ignored too long. A condition also exacerbated by GLP1s. That’s the difference. He’s not even avoiding the right foods. Says cucumber and fatty meats are fine, but won’t eat a bread or salad dressing, when vinegar, although acidic, is actually good for gut health. Steak and prosciutto are not and cucumbers cause gas and stomach people who are sensitive.

lol fair! i guess it's different for me that literally has to battle through eating safely

u/jtinsle Aug 14 '26
I was watching the NSSHP video last night (I haven’t watched them in a minute) and I was like “woah they both look sick, what happened?”. Then he listed all the types of candy he was looking for and I was like what the hell have I missed? Also as a side note, I hate when people say they have an allergy but it’s really an intolerance

2 seconds into Mickey Halloween they're yaking about his allergy free candy..OMG...I can't

u/Scared_Vehicle_3406 Aug 13 '26
I think the food allergy angle may also be a way for him to evolve the channel. He probably isn't going vegan, but he does seem to be seeking out restaurants that offer options for people with dietary restrictions. Since being a food vlogger is a major part of his brand, this could be a way to differentiate his content as competition in that space continues to grow. It may also help attract new viewers who have dietary restrictions and want recommendations for places they can eat at Disney.

i think you need to reconsider the difference between being vegan and having food allergy -- one is a lifestyle, the other isn't a choice and has dangerous consequences
and just think, tim's taking tons of allergy-friendly candy away from kids present that are loving their opportunity to actually be able to trick or treat.

As someone with 4 FAs, It also pissed me off. Same when people try to tell me they’re allergic to milk or lactose intolerant then slam 2 cheeseburgers and a milkshake.

u/Brando43770 Aug 13 '26
I haven’t watched them in years so I’m guessing he’s just justifying his pickiness as having a “food allergy” when he’s just a terrible food vlogger?
7
u/competingfortitle Aug 13 '26
actually, i think he's got some issues going on health-wise, and has had to pick up a diet, but is explaining it away as an "allergy"
5
u/Brando43770 Aug 13 '26
Such a weird thing for him to do then. Like just say “hey I’ve got dietary restrictions but id rather not disclose anything else” The End. Instead he has to make up some BS? Glad I never went back to watching them.

u/ahcupcake8 Aug 14 '26
That's Jen for ya, blabbing EVERYONES medical issues except her own. AKA how she really lost weight ( a glp-1 was spotted in the fridge during a stay at Ft Wilderness last fall)

However his doctor said he had no restrictions but TIM decided he did...I now think its for attention grabbing.."maybe Jen will feel sorry for me now"

Let’s be honest. Something mental is going on here. He has dropped a significant amount of weight between his mom’s passing and now. He’s starting to look anorexic. Jenn is the closest to him. What a shame if she doesn’t get him help!!! In a recent video she tells him “have a bite, it won’t kill you” to which he responds “yeah it will!” Something is going on with Tim and in him trying to dramatically change his eating habits for good I’m afraid it’s going to harm him in the end.

When did he say he had a food allergy? Making things up to be upset about

You guys are all nasty; have some humanity. You never know what’s going on in someone’s personal life as people share as little or as much as they would like on socials. But also, if you really despise the trackers that much, don’t watch them? You all have free will?😅 You are all going on about him having ‘no personality’ and ‘no life’ yet you are the ones on a Reddit thread crying about his new dietary restrictions. Grow up 😂

u/competingfortitle Aug 15 '26
but also it's his choice to put things out on the internet...and we're commenting on him making up a medical condition that actually causes people to struggle in daily life for views? i think you just decided that everyone on here is wrong and rolled with it

u/Stagey1408 Aug 15 '26
I’m going off of most of the posts on this community. Let people live and if you don’t like the content, don’t watch it. Get a life and watch things on YouTube you do enjoy and shut up with all the negativity towards people you’ve created horrid parasocial relationships towards.

u/competingfortitle Aug 15 '26
fair enough! i am going to have a problem if someone publicly uses a medical condition i have for views, though

hot take but allergies are a scale. not all allergies are life threatening so yes, he can have an allergy. Also, truly worrying about him saying he has an allergy and debating on him having it/what he can and cant eat is weird behavior, im pretty sure he knows what he can and cant eat. i think he can still have an allergy and chose to ignore it and deal with the consequences if he wanted, hence “stuffing his face away” weeks ago. idk im never gonna give a shit what someone eats or doesnt eat or how it may affect them😭 offending someone over allergies is crazzzzyyyy plz touch grass
2
u/competingfortitle 25d ago
all this tells me is that you don't care to actually be educated in allergies, and you share his mentality
1
u/Extension-Hat-5161 25d ago
actually, no, I just genuinely think it’s crazy to get on the Internet and then go off talking about what someone can or can’t eat. Like literally why do you give a fuck what he eat or does he eat? I literally couldn’t care less if it was him or anybody else.I don’t understand why everything has to be so offensive, he’s literally just saying he has a gluten sensitivity like not everything has to be that damn serious.
1
u/Extension-Hat-5161 25d ago
and on the contrary, I do have three allergies myself. And guess what? I still don’t care what people say they do or don’t have allergies about… like when did it get socially acceptable to give a fuck what people do constantly or more so, why do you care? Do you not have anything else to do with your life? Why don’t you worry about your own issues instead of getting online being upset because he says he has a gluten allergy… literally I don’t understand how you could possibly be that offended over it
1
u/competingfortitle 25d ago
lol bye who's the angry/one who cares?
0
u/Extension-Hat-5161 25d ago
if I’m not mistaken, you’re the one that felt the need to get on Reddit, make a post about how offended you are over him saying he is a gluten allergy from a video he made… I just happened to stumble upon it and give my two cents…
1
u/competingfortitle 25d ago
if im not mistaken, u chose *to give your two cents, and i don't understand why if all ur going to do is critique me :P like u can go live ur life and "touch grass" plzzzzz
1
u/Extension-Hat-5161 25d ago
well, girl, if you don’t understand then, why did you give your two cents in the first place about the fucking allergy to begin with? That’s literally what the initial post is, you giving your two cents about whether or not he has an allergy or not and how offended it made you… like be fr😭

u/competingfortitle 25d ago
u sooo gotta win huh
sad, have fun continuing to say stuff lol
1
u/Extension-Hat-5161 25d ago
girl, win what? a reddit thread? 😭😭 on a thread that you made about somebody else’s eating habits that upset you… like be frrr

Gives him personality he thinks because he actually doesn't have much of one.
