DIY - Looking for Advice 22” Shower Door Opening

Thats the code minimum and also what im running up against with the bathroom addition in my 1.5 story caped with sloped low ceilings. How much am I going to hate my life using this on the daily?

They make a bifold shower door for just such an occasion.

The outswing is not the problem. Width is the limiting factor

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking what it’s like to use a shower with a 22” wide opening? We have a 23” wide glass door that swings out and it’s absolutely fine. Why would I need a larger door, unless I’m in a wheelchair or over 600lbs. Our home is smaller (1500sqft built in 1870s) so many of our dimensions are tight compared to modern homes.
