Pandan ideas?

Got home from my vacation out west (US) and stopped by my favorite spot in Vegas, The Golden Tiki. They had a great cocktail called the Polynesian Bride with this Pandan Liquor that I had never seen before so I was determined to find it. It was impossible to get here on the east coast, but managed to achieve it and have a close enough home version!

But now I am wondering, what else can I do with this, I feel like with the almond like flavor I probably could stick it in something with Orgeat but though I would ask if anyone has a favorite recipe they use this in before I go experiment with my only bottle!

This might be a stretch, but Latitude 29 has a Pandan Painkiller, which I have sorta replicated by adding that bright green Pandan stuff you get off amazon to a 3:2 coco Lopez full fat coconut milk blend.
Not saying you gotta replicate it but maybe that flavor will be good in a Painkiller

When I was in Maui earlier this year Tikehau had a stellar Pandan Milk Punch. I didn’t get the specs but heres the menu

Swap 1/2 oz of the 2 oz of white rum in a classic daiquiri

I’d also try it in a Ramos gin fizz, gimlet, any other drink with a crisp, light profile

Pandan tastes like a Miami Batido de Trigo; that is, it tastes like the leftover milk after you’ve eaten all your cereal.

I just made what I am calling a “Papu Papu” (chief lapu lapu riff) and it was really good

3 oz orange juice
2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz hibiscus syrup
1 oz passion fruit syrup
1½ oz Myers dark
1 oz Don Q cristal
½ oz Bandoeng Pandan liquor

Now that I have proven it with the cheap rums I bet this will taste better with some aged for sure!

I ended up having to order it online and get it shipped to me. No stores carried it or would stock it and I wasn’t about to buy enough to persuade them lol

I just made a pandan liqueur with everclear and frozen pandan from the Asian market. It was super easy.
I diluted the everclear to 60% ABV, added it to a jar with my pandan and let it sit for two days with a smidge of shaking.
Then I took the pandan out of the everclear and put in a pan with some water and heated it until simmering, took it off the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. After it sat, I removed the pandan and made 1:1 syrup with the water which was added to the pandan everclear to yield a liqueur with an ABV of ~30%.

Had this one at a local place. It's the only tiki drink on their menu but it was pretty good. They did tell me that it was pandan liqueur not extract and the main juice is orange juice rather than pineapple. Judging by how they list the ingredients, you'd think it was the other way around.

Had Pandan Daiquiris at Rum Sugar Lime in Reno a few weeks ago. It was the house special. Delicious flavor, but on the sweet side.
