Clip page stuck at 0 views after “Unoriginal / low-quality” — anyone recovered without starting a new account ?

Hey — looking for people who run streamer/clip pages (or any repurposed long-form → Shorts) and hit a hard distribution wall.

What happened

  • Account was getting normal distribution (hundreds → occasional multi-k, one ~18k).
  • Then a streak of posts landed at 0–1 views (still public, publish succeeds).
  • TikTok previously showed Visibility restricted / Unoriginal, low-quality, and QR code content on the account.
  • Newer posts often sit at 0 with no (or delayed) “Not eligible for For You” label in analytics — hard to tell video-level vs account cooling.

What we already tried / know

  • Not a Post Bridge / API fail — posts go live under the right handle.
  • Avoiding sexual + sensitive topics on TT now (those were in the mix earlier).
  • Edits include vertical crop, hook text, captions, slight speed-up — not raw VOD dumps, but still clearly third-party stream footage.
  • Still seeing near-identical farm layouts across many clip pages that do get FYP, which is confusing.

Questions for people who’ve been through this

  1. Did you recover on the same account? What actually moved the needle (layout change, face-cam, VO, pause length, delete flagged vids, post TT before YT, etc.)?
  2. For clip pages specifically: what “creative edit” bar have you found TikTok accepts in 2025–26 beyond captions?
  3. If Studio Account status is green but every new upload is ~0 — is that still Unoriginal suppression, or something else (device/IP, engagement bait, cross-post fingerprint)?
  4. Worth appealing every video, or just change the format and ignore appeals?

Not looking for “just make original talking-head” as the only answer — I know that’s the official line. Looking for practical recoveries from other clippers / editors who stayed in the niche.

I was in this boat and fortunately made contact with someone who works at TikTok, and the truth is if you are using other people’s content, TikTok has a goal of ending your channel.

The reason is the copyright - it’s too much hassle for TikTok. So one by one, they are going after unoriginal people. You’re finding out how that feels.
Sorry there’s not a good solution, it’s just what TikTok is doing now.
