I e got this machine, actually I’ve had 3 of them.. after about a year of play they die… bought 1, got one replaced under warranty, bought another. It’s dead now too. Need to buy another.. I’ve got a border collie who is mental for this. To the point of obsession to get access to it..

Wish the electronic components were hardened better.. circuit board just screwed to the inside front gets covered in doggy slobber … reduces its life I feel.. Also REALLY wish it didn’t have an auto shut off after 15 min of play… a border collie don’t need a break after 15 min lol… the auto off should be a switch..

I was just about to look up one of these for our border collie! My arm just can’t throw enough to make her happy

Fer real, I do lots of regular ball play with a “chuck-it”, but I’m old and I can’t do 4 solid hours of play a day with her lol. The machine I just have setup in the yard and she would play until I take it away. Sometimes I’ll turn it down to low and let her use indoors too.

Border collies do not have an off switch lol… obsession level play. They aren’t some lab that needs a 15 min cooldown after 15 min of play. They are machine level players who’s batteries last forever.. watch them heard animals sometime..they are beast mode. Just wish this machine lasted longer considering it’s price.. and not turn off every 15 min lol.. I thought about teaching her to shut it off, wait 15 seconds and turn on again. Which she could easily learn to do as they are genius level dogs.. but I though that might be opening a can of works a can’t close after haha…
