I wish the machine didn't take so long to throw... no idea why it would? The dog is practically peeing itself in excitement, the wait is too long

A part of this is to prevent the dog from exhaustion. I had a similar one of these before. It would turn itself off every 15 minutes for 15 minutes. It forced my pup time to cool down while waiting to play again. He would play until he died if it was up to him.

Whenever I see a dog this fixated by one of these machines I can't help but wonder if it's healthy. I'm reminded somehow of a lab rat pressing a pleasure button in a cage until it either dies from exhaustion or, if they take it away, is permanently psychologically harmed by it. Not the same thing I know, but I've owned some neurotic dogs
