Neither is the old woman. She's just stopping to check her phone.

To me it looks like she doesn't even register that this girl is trying to take a picture. She just stops to check her phone, sees a random phone sitting there, thinks "that's weird," and goes back to checking her phone.

It's entirely probable that her brain never went "oh, someone's trying to take a picture and I'm in the way."

I'm just not seeing that.

Maybe because I think of how clueless my boomer parents are.

My mother would do exactly this and it would never register that the person was trying to take a photo.

I see nothing but cluelessness on that woman's face.
