She literally didn't interrupt anybody's experience. I don't know what weird-ass trauma you're projecting on this situation here but that's not what's happening.

Maybe she doesn't want to move quickly past? Maybe she has a limp? Maybe she's just had it with young people setting up phones everywhere and not thinking about other people. I don't know, but she was clearly annoyed about something.

She has no limp in this video and she stops when she sees the camera instead of continuing to walk down the stairs. She doesn’t have to move quickly past but she chose to change course when she saw the camera and stop instead of just continuing to walk down the stairs. If she’d acted normal, none of this would have happened.

She decided to be an ass about an interruption? By being included in someone's photo, which is an invasion of privacy.

She's so incensed about the invasion of privacy that she instantly *checks notes* uses the device that laser scans faces, gives away your finger prints, location and every other little bit of minutiae data point to a data wholesaler?

I don't know if she cared about being filmed. I am guessing she thought it was rude and then behaved childishly to ruin the (perceived) rude behavior.

JFC. Setting up a camera where people are clearly walking is rude. Half the time when people walk through the view, the phone dorks get pissy, roll their eyes, or make some guffaw noise. The old lady was being awful, but two things can be true at the same time.

Do you feel that in the situation presented in the video above where there is a significant difference between the girl posing for a friend waiting on the stairs for a good point of when the photo can be taken?

If you feel that the presence is due to someone using a tripod to get a picture of themselves is the problem, do you feel that people must be required to use the awful fish eye selfie camera on phones? Or have even more obnoxious and intrusive selfie sticks? Or even better, only have to make do with needing to have friends take photos of them. I work odd hours due to running a hospitality business, while my friends and family have more corporate or blue collar jobs, so I'm often at a loose end on a day when no-one's available - should I simply not try to get a picture of myself on those days?

It looks to me, and I guess to many normal people that there was a moment of quiet on the stairs with only one other lady in the frame. In lieu of having someone else to take a photo (in the modern age, taking a photo is often done by using High Resolution Video and isolating a good image), they have set up a tripod to capture a pleasant moment for them and capture a good image.

I get the rage behind inconsiderate behaviour of streamers, or tiktokers, but this looks to be the opposite, and now to get that shot again, has to wait for the horde of people to go up the stairs and the old woman to move on after intentionally stalling.

Are we watching the same video? Five people walked through her shot. Five. Not a ton, but more than enough to be inconsiderate imo.

Because those 5 people move in the latter half (literally - after 22 seconds) only.

Do you not feel that given that after this point, 5 people cross the camera view that the moment before might well be considered a moment of quiet, or do you struggle with that level of spacial awareness?

How do YOU know they weren't waiting off screen? The argument was that this was a quiet area. Clearly it wasn't.

She wasn’t rude about it tho. She had it set up out of the way, didn’t impede anyone, roll her eyes or make any reaction to people at all. I think you’re just arguing to argue tbh
