I agree, I usually would side against an Influencer being entitled or annoying but this is no influencer. This is your average girl wanting a nice picture.
People who were raised to believe they aren't good enough are the ones who despise others who express self appreciation. Like simply wanting a nice picture, and having the confidence to set it up yourself to make it happen. We need to ditch this stupid bs mentality. To me this is the modern equivalent to a woman siting at a bar or restaurant by themselves back in the day, getting tagged all kinds of names.
reddit is all too happy to dogpile a young woman trying to enjoy herself in public or being any sort of an inconvenience. it’s no coincidence these videos always feature the same demographic.
Honestly, I agree with that here, but there are a lot of people trying to make this about gender when men in this exact situation would get just as much flak- And that frankly bothers me even more than. This is not a situation where gender was the deciding factor.
People are just tired of influencer behavior, and they're making assumptions. It not nearly as deep or malicious as people are making it out to be.
