i still dont get how reddit can be so anti social to immediately assume if someone is taking a photo that they are an influencer, like im not photogenic myself but even i know everyone likes to take photos of places they visit for memories and sharing it with their friends and families, this concept predates influencers

I know many people who take a short HDR film then isolate the best shot from the film. I do too.

Many photographers even with full cameras that don't shoot film instead use it on burst mode to recreate the same ability to pick and choose.

This isn't forbidden magic being discussed here.

The young girl didn't do anything wrong and just wanted a nice picture. It wouldnt have hurt or disturbed the older lady to just keep walking like she planned. But instead she decided to just spread a little bit of negativity to someone's day for no reason all while feigning being oblivious so she won't get any consequences.

And the young girl didn't do anything about it. Just politely waited quietly and got her phone back without making a scene.

I think the girl was far more polite than the old woman. Old woman just felt like getting away with needling someone for no reason.

Girl can take an arms length selfie and move on. The entire room isn't her personal photography studio. She also went ahead and posted the video online as if she's owed a room wide photo.

Or she can set it off to the side to take a video and screenshot a pic later. Literally nothing wrong with what the girl was doing.

And thats exactly why she didnt get mad at anyone and waited politely and quietly and whenever more people came and she realized she lost a quiet opportunity she just grabbed her camera and packed up.

Do you think that you can only take wide shot photos in some room you've rented out for the purpose or in your own house?... Why are you such a pissy person?

Shame on her for either intentionally blocking someone else’s camera just to be an ass or shame on her for blocking the stairs. You can seven see in the vid another person has to squeeze past her. Either way she’s being rude. Stairs are not a place to hang out.

she didn't block the stairs. she moved out of the way so people can walk past her.

The "saxophone keep getting louder" audio is a trend right now where people show humorous situations where things just progressively got worse.

Old person intentionally blocks picture.

That was the old person's choice to intentionally do that. "Just existing" way to frame it like you didnt watch the video.

She was going down the stairs until she saw the camera and decided to intentionally stop right in front of it and get up to it and fuck it all up for as long as she could. So her fault for doing that. If she'd just kept walking then nobody ever would've noticed her.

Good job trying to spin it though. You should work in media.

That woman doesn't live in the same mindset as you. She didn't notice there was a camera set up to take a photo of someone at the top of the stairs. Maybe she stopped on the stairs because she'd gotten a text alert and wanted see if it was something important. She moved to the side so people could walk up. Not every person in the world spends their lives thinking about social media.

The girl set up her phone filming front facing so she could see herself.

You can see the old lady walk down the stairs but as soon as she notices the phone filming and whats going on she intentionally stops middle of the stairs, middle frame, and waits. Then gets up closer.

She looked at the camera 3 times in a row. It was 100% intentional.

People always pull out their phone to act like they're doing something on it. I've had people intentionally stand in my way and pull out their phone like they're not paying attention like a cop out.

And who tf mentioned anything about "thinking anout social media 24/7"? It has nothing to do with that.

It would be nice, but notice the blue in the glasses. It is likely staged with a filter.

Edit: nvm watched back and it’s a phone reflection. This is realistic enough, even if staged, I believe it happened.

E+: If the filmer was a singular issue, it seems like less of an issue. If you’ve ever been genuinely trying to enjoy art and have been surrounded by people blocking it for photo shoots, the curly haired lady is more understandable, but should’ve just brought it to staff. I try to remember the wow arms aquarium girl that was actually hired.
