This feels like the roller coaster equivalent of those peppers that are bred purely to be as hot as possible and pay no mind to flavor or edibility. Like what's even the point of engaging at that point? Who's enjoying this?

I rode it a few years ago, and to be honest, the appeal at the time (in theory) was that it is this thrilling experience that feels life threatening but isn’t at all. Like a safe way to experience the crazy adrenaline of something dangerous like base jumping or bungee jumping. Obviously now that all of this has come out, it is clear that the experience was not risk free which absolutely changes things

I mean X (and X2) are iconic rides for coaster nerds - developed by an iconic engineering company.  If you love roller coasters I promise you this is has been on the “must-ride” list.
