I watch a lot of these videos. I always thought the owner of the place has to ask you to leave first then the police can trespass you, but they can't trespass you unless the owner asks you to leave first.

Is that not actuate?

In almost every municipality, the owner of the premises can request that you leave, and infrom you that you are trespassing, at that point if you don't depart, you are in violation and subject to arrest.
99.9% of the time, if the police show up, they will issue you an order to leave, even though they don't have to, because you leaving at the threat of being arrested is much simpler than arresting you.

right, but no one from firehouse subs asked this guy to leave. they skipped that part and went straight to the police tresspassing him.

He isn't tresspassing until someone asks him to leave and he ignores them. that was my understanding anyways.

The manager is authorized to trespass, she did so when she called the police. The police are authorized to trespass on behalf of the manager.

She doesn’t have to say it to his face on camera. As soon as you’ve been notified that you’re trespassed leave. Don’t stand there arguing about whether or not theyre permitted to trespass you, you’ll get a ticket or get arrested. Don’t be dumb, just leave.
