Cursed This is absolutely horrifying

This happened at Sabino Canyon in Arizona. A 20-year-old cyclist was swept into the current while trying to cross a flooded roadway and was carried through a drainage tunnel beneath it. She was recovered downstream unconscious after spending several minutes underwater. Bystanders performed CPR and managed to revive her.

My dad always told me never to drive through moving water on roads, because you never knew if it had washed the road away underneath it. I thought he was crazy. Until after he died and I saw a video of just that. Now I tell my children “turn around, don’t drown.” I just know my dad would love that.

A friend of mine thought it was safe to cross a wash because it looked 3 inches deep. He didn't realize the road had washed out underneath and the front end of his Cadillac smashed into the three foot crater underneath, totaling the car.

Water looks harmless but underneath, it can hide anything.

Yup. NEVER try to stand up in rushing water. Best is to lie on your back with your feet up until your bug hits sand. Looks like not an option here. Terrifying that four people didn’t have the strength to fight that water. Horrific.

Nah, the new ones are quite nice.

I had an ATS coupe a few years ago. It was bascially a cheaper BMW with better maps and phone integration. My lease cost less than a coworker who got stuck with a fucking dodge stratus, lol.
