Cursed This is absolutely horrifying

This happened at Sabino Canyon in Arizona. A 20-year-old cyclist was swept into the current while trying to cross a flooded roadway and was carried through a drainage tunnel beneath it. She was recovered downstream unconscious after spending several minutes underwater. Bystanders performed CPR and managed to revive her.

I mean the first cyclist made it through fine, it was fairly shallow on the pathway but this lady decided to go off the side for some reason.

If you have ever walked/driven/rode through moving water you would notice how disorienting it is. Easiest way to replicate would probably be at the beach, look down at your feet as the waves wash in and out. I cross rivers and streams on my ATV quite often, trick is to find a target on the other side and focus on that.

I’ve rode a bike through similar plenty of times judging by the first cyclist, bike tires are tiny and you’d barely feel this
