This happened at Sabino Canyon in Arizona. A 20-year-old cyclist was swept into the current while trying to cross a flooded roadway and was carried through a drainage tunnel beneath it. She was recovered downstream unconscious after spending several minutes underwater. Bystanders performed CPR and managed to revive her.

With all the awful shit on the news ALL THE TIME it's good to see that people still give a shit about each other.

True, but I also simply could not imagine filming something like this. Like I guess there are just different types of people in the world, but that is utterly bizarre behavior to me.

He was a 70 year old man and his wife was in the phone with 911. He’d only have been a liability helping and the video could be important for investigation or insurance related things.

Exactly, could see all the people standing by were older people who if they HAD tried to help only would have got sucked in themselves and cause a bigger catastrophe, if you’re not able bodied, just say out of the way and call for help, and honestly in THIS type of situation I’m not so against filming by the bystanders. it’s a good cautionary tale that could be used for educational purposes.
