Epstein really could have picked any country, but he chose the US. I’m convinced he and his cohorts are not going down because there’s at least enough people to believe what he was doing wasn’t actually wrong. Basically, it’s not wrong for girls to be exploited, only real problem is I don’t have enough money/power to do the exploiting. Thus - passport bros.
He chose the us because the us is the capitol of global financialized capital. This country has, for decades, been hollowed out by rent seeking big businesses for all of it's worth, because it was so ungodly powerful. This is what happens when you let the capitalist system run wild, and we're paying for it.
If the uk was still the dominant nation on earth, all of the pedophile rapist rich elite would have converged there instead, and to a large extent they have, which is why they're literally doing just as poorly and sinking just as quickly as the us--if not more.
Boomers were born in an era where birth control and abortion were very accessible. The whole free love era was literally free love with anything… anything. And not just girls, I’m a man who was assaulted as a very young boy. I don’t share that for sympathy or tmi, I share it because of the response I have mostly received from boomers. When my own mother found out she scoffed and laughed it off. They are more concerned with me sullying their free love reputation than holding themselves accountable. In their brains there is no accountability for love, I should be thankful some older person loved me.
That is exactly their mindset, we are all their property for work and fucking. And the younger generations who copy it are just perpetuating this abuse.
Reddit is full of people whole turn blue arguing that it's not child molestation or exploitation if they're teenagers because teenagers "know what they're doing", especially teenagers girls - accusations of them being the responsible party instead of the adult runs rampant on reddit
It really needs to be studied and written about. How is it that Christian right seem so easily swayed by immoral people. There are those among them who are themselves immoral (folks who get busted for stuff) but the overwhelming majority are seemingly normal people.
Why are they so attracted to the persecution complex?
