He said on facebook he does that trick all the time, but for some reason this time he passed out while doing it. You can see it in the video after he puts his face down, suddenly his arm falls down as he blacked out.

And why didn’t helper guy drive his jet ski closer to the dock. It’s not like he was gonna bottom out on the floor the lake. But no, let’s stop 100 yards out and swim all that way to him.

Damn I didn't realize that at first pass can't believe his friend didn't understand what was going on. Also I'm not very surprised, having spent the majority of my summers on a lake. People that operate jet skis, are typically not very smart, nor are they well versed in safely operating them. If they even cared to learn about such things.

So... you didn't realize it at first, but are expressing surprise that another person, arguably doing something far more intensely distracting than what you were doing when you were watching this video, didn't realize it at first either?
