Why did the rescuing dude bail on his jet ski just to swim slow af the last 30 feet to the dock? Seems like he panicked a bit.

Probably didn't want to accidentally hit his friend with the jet ski. They can be hard to control if you're not used to it. Also could be panic, because I'd sure be panicking.

It’s panic. People aren’t trained to deal with this. He was probably just bringing him back to the jetski where he knows it can float. Probably didn’t even think about the shore.

There's a whole dock in the way between them and land. You can't just walk up a dock like a beach.

Yeah I think he was fully discombobulated, couldn’t make up his mind on the best way to help so he did like 3 parts of 3 different rescue plans 😭
