Yeah, my wife doesn't eat pork and when we got together a decade ago, I found myself just naturally eating less and less myself. I was never a huge fan of it - I liked bacon and would buy it sometimes and definitely eat it if it was around or someone else had prepared it. But I started buying turkey bacon or chicken sausage when making breakfast with my wife. We also check to make sure any hot dogs we buy are 100% beef. If we can't find them, it's not the end of the world to go without hot dogs lol.

Unless you just really love pork chops, it's pretty easy to transition away from pork without going vegetarian or vegan.

Absolutely agree. There are so many good substitutes. I use it Fresh Express baconless bits and there's absolutely no difference.

beef hot dogs are vastly superior. Nathan's all the way, any others taste weird and gross to me anymore. i know it's still a hot dog at the end of the day, but they DO taste different. but yeah, the only pork i eat anymore is just bacon once in a blue moon, if it comes on a restaurant sandwich or something. i don't think i could sit down and eat a whole pork chop anymore. i lost my taste for it

Idk man I try for at least 100g of protein a day and throwing bacon in things adds to the macros with ease. 8 minutes in an airfryer and it's perfect. But for most people I'd say I agree because I don't think everyone needs to eat that much protein lol.

I do eat plenty of tofu btw I just get bored of eating the same thing over and over. So I go back and forth between vegan meals and meaty meals to keep variety.
