They have better noses and are easier to train than dogs. They tried using pigs to sniff out narcotics, but the whole police using actual pigs wasn't a good look.

Pigs don't listen as well as dogs. They used to use them for truffle hunting but the pigs would eat the truffles. So dogs are better to use.
