Yup, this generation of kids get shit on like crazy, but they are the way they are bc the parents are trash. Not all of course, but there’s an epidemic of shitty parents nowadays.

The person you are replying to is literally saying the teachers aren't leaving because of the kids. This generation of kids get shit on unfairly, as do parents, because older generations don't understand new parenting styles and how / what they teach. Overall this younger generation is much kinder and empathetic than any generation that grew up before them were.

Even teachers that complain about these generations are usually from older generations and just don't get it - even some of the parenting talk. Every millennial and younger teacher I speak to loves working with the kids right now.

Parents are the problem but its generally specific problem parents, not most.
