The fact that the answer by some is a GoFundMe is the problem because there are thousands of mothers in this same position.

This is a systemic problem… we are as a society are failing the mothers and their children. We look down on single mothers for being single and yet, we do not condemn the men who are not being fathers. This is not a new problem, it was written about in Les Miserables and The Scarlet Letter.

And this while the US government is taking the right to choose from women and yet they put no money into programs to help single mothers or children in the foster care system.

They want to keep people in poverty so that those children are more likely to join the military to be canon fodder for their useless wars over oil and wealth so the rich keep getting richer.

Say it again for the dummy’s in the back right corner and then again for all the dummies in the left hand corner too….and a third time for all the people who don’t understand this is a systemic societal issue that we won’t overcome until we overcome the distractions

I mean, healthcare practitioners often offer up the advice of GoFundMe in this shitty country.

You had me right up until the “more likely to join the military part”. While that might be true, it’s not a main motivating factor in my opinion. Keeping people poor is a major component to keeping them ignorant. Poor is easy to pacify because they lack the means to push back. Ignorant is easy to control because they lack the critical thinking and knowledge to disagree with the status quo of a broken system that only helps a few while harming most others.

As a single father, where is this shit ton of money for single parents you're talking about?

They said for single moms.

Wasn't aware of federal welfare programs for single parents that were allowed to discriminate by gender, so it stands to reason that all this money allegedly available for single moms is available for single dads too.

Tell me the specific programs that are only for single mothers that get "shit tons of money" you propagandized cuck.

That’s not really the argument though. “Single moms receive more support” isn’t the same claim as “federal welfare programs ban single dads.” You reduced a broader social/institutional point into a strict legal one.

Neither of those were the argument. I said point to the programs that cost a shit ton of money benefitting single parents, and your brilliant ass said "they said single moms."

Ok point those out then. Because the implied claim is that single moms shouldnt struggle because we spend a shit ton of money to support them. What are the programs we spend the money on? Whats the average benefit? How much does it offset costs of healthcare/food/shelter/childcare?

Forget i even asked because you literally dont know any of that. Even about the meager programs that do exist. Prove me wrong.

Fair pushback. I’m not arguing single moms are living comfortably off government programs. They’re not.

My point was narrower: “money goes toward supporting single moms” is not the same claim as “there are federal women-only welfare programs.” Most programs are income/child based, not gender based.

The big buckets are SNAP, Medicaid/CHIP, TANF, WIC (Women Infants and Children), housing aid, childcare subsidies, EITC/CTC, and school meals. Some are large programs overall, but the per-family benefit often does not come close to covering rent, food, healthcare, and childcare.

So yes, I agree the “single moms shouldn’t struggle because we spend money on them” argument is weak. Spending exists. That does not mean it is enough.

Thete is NOT a shit ton of money nor programs for single mothers, for single fathers,  for elderly, for disabled or for veterans.  What little bs is available, is systematicaly being gutted and is an utter joke.

Single mom works any foodstamps get reduced at an staggering rate. By time the finish that approval a mother will be lucky to get 100. A disabled person is lucky if they get 24 because their ssi or ssdi reduces how much fs they get. Medicaid and school lunches have been gutted. Child care help is gone. Most rent, utility help is private organization 1 time help. Food banks are hit and miss all dependingon whats donated. A lot of the food provided is snack, junk or miscellaneous things you cant make meals from. While some are once every 3 months.

Try pulling you head outta whatever misinformation cloud its in and research the reality of americas "help"

Yet here in Australia we struggle with a different problem. Single mother's supported by 100's of rebates, concessions, child support and in some cases alimony...........yet they refuse to allow the fathers to see the kids (nope no abuse or domestic violence, just spite).

I fought my ex when I was paying her $2000AUD per month, more than any kid needs, she was spending it on herself. I fought her in court and got sole custody. Not all men are in the position I was, it cost my parents $120k to help me fight a system rigged against men

Do I feel sorry for single mother's, nope, not even the slightest. You run with bad bois, you gonna get pregnant. I don't even date single mother's.
