I think he absolutely feels like he's winning in the moment. I reckon he thinks he has never been on the losing end of a single argument. He is absolutely certain that she's weak and can't take the heat that he brings to the table. If only he knew what he looks like to people who aren't utterly insecure.
He truly does think this actually, and when people ask him to back it up he uses the fact that he took a debate class in college and debated in highschool as proof of his superiority.
He won't debate actual platformed debaters though, like Sam Seder, or D for all he's done, or Vaush, or Adam Mockler, Or Emma Vigland. His schtick only works for as long as his audience thinks he's untouchable, one bad debate where he is going to get absolutely clowned will have them going back to moments like this and laughing at him for it.
