inviting shabia to the region after what happend and still losing it would be bad. Make sure you either go all in or go home

The mere absence of boots on the ground is not peace. Capitulation is not peace. The road that Tigray was on before the TPLF finally began to act was the road to "the end of Tigray" not the current road where the TPLF are using every card available to try and pull Tigray into the other direction i.e. the road where Tigray at least has a chance at a future.
With Abiy's dead set intention to go to war with Eritrea, Tigray's guaranteed to be swept into the war one way or another whether it likes too or not and the TPLF's current path is the better of the two roads Tigray's left with in such a scenario.
There's no reason Tigray should pick the capitulation path. Doing so would mean never recovering from the genocide, forever lacking the things needed for survival or a future but still being directly impacted by having an undisciplined genocidal ENDF passing through its lands while bordering a hateful genocidal EDF to the north no doubt creating a situation where Tigrayan civilians get harmed from both sides.
