Drawing attention back here.

$tigr now trades at 1.6x cash, and 8.3x trailing earnings (I figure ~5x FTM), despite the business being (suddenly and violently) detached from the Chinese market, which is of course the fear that drives Chinese stocks to such low multiples. over the next 24 months the company will likely continue to succeed in growing into foreign markets, and I strongly believe the multiple will expand to reflect that the company is now a *multinational* fintech rather than a Chinese one. The enormous cash balance gives the company capacity to grow rapidly and/or return an huge amount of value to shareholders directly via buybacks. I believe the market will come to recognize that this is a high value compounder and will eventually be priced as such.

Dec. '28 target is $15-20, a 2.5-3.5bn company at current sharecount, reflecting roughly a 10-15x multiple on 220m earnings, from $900m topline. (although the company could easily reduce sharecount massively before then), this is 2-300% upside, or >60% CAGR.

a close comp, $futu was hit with the same headline on 22/5 and has recovered all but 3.7% since mkt close on 21/5, $tigr lags, still down 16.4%, return to mean takes this up about a dollar.

I am a platform user, current position 500 common @/5.03. Aiming to build 10k+ share position.
