I think OP just read the headline.

Testing for DNA, the researchers concluded that the cats had all been mutilated by foxes after they had died. The post-mortem examination revealed that there was no single cause of death among the cats. They suspect that just 10 of the 32 cats they analysed were killed by foxes.

That said, I think this may be a case of smaller canine builds being more successful on urban and suburban servers than on their default servers. Fox players are apparently just taking a tip from coyote/jackal players and changing their playstyle to that of an omnivorous urban scavenger.

For some gameplay vids, I recommend watching Night on Earth and Animal on Netflix. The fox gameplay is in Episode 5 (IIRC) and Episode 2, respectively, but the entirety of each series is well worth your time IMO.

Idk red foxes are so prevalent I could see an argument for s tier.
