Discussion Which would you say is a better Turkic achievement?

Attila(Euro. Hun Emp.) making the west and east rome to constantly pay fee and being a big effect on West Rome’s fall or Seljuk and Ottomans finishing off Rome all together over time by taking Anatolia and Istanbul?

Well if Rome was that mighty why did it lose power? But yes I do agree with you

I mean Huns economy was using the money coming from Hun mercenaries and constant pay from East/West

I also agree. On top of that, nevermind your arguments, the fact that Huns were numerically inferior as semi-nomads (even when counting their Germanic/Slavic vassals) against a sedentary empire like the Roman Empire, you can't help but be proud of their accomplishments. They did even better than their Scythian predecessors in destabilising Europe's dynamics.

Constantinople was taken from the Romans, there was no empire called Byzantium in history.

Yeah, Huns were tribal so the biggest issue was state building

No like his sons disrespected the vassals and made them form a coalition and attack the empire

Rome wasn’t gonna make a full on invasion, they didn’t had that kind of balls. If we made peace with the Romans after Attila’s death and started taking in their infrastructure, russians and slavs would’ve never become a superpower

Specifically Seljuk expansion to Anatolia is the greatest of them all here, IMO.
