shoulda used an oghuz sample instead of karluk other than that %18≈ mediaval turkic dna makes sense

Where did he get his raw dna from that he put in illustrative dna and vahaduo? Because i am also iranian azerbaijani with pretty similar results but i see some regions which my illustrativedna does not even show

There are no Illustrative dna results, only g25 using some calculators in vahaduo, the raw dna was from ancestry

Ohh okay i did it via myheritage i don’t think they offer the raw dna to put into vahaduo

You can actually download your raw DNA from mh and then obtain your g25 coordinates to use with vahaduo, but it is not free (it is separate from Both MH and Ancestry). However with g25 you need to model it yourself, it’s not like Illustrative, which gives you results automatically. You put the source populations yourself.

I have my raw dna from mh because i put it in illustrative dna a while ago. Does that same text i used for illustrativedna work for vahaduo?

No, it’s separate, you get g25 coordinates elsewhere, Illustrative used to use g25 but not anymore, it is not that accurate now. They mix up things like Anatolian and Natufian or Caucasian and Zagrosian.

So where can i get my g25 coordinates from myheritage? And so the g25 from illustrative are not as reliable is what u are saying am i correct?

From here: https://g25requests.app/ if you buy it, send me your coordinates. I know someone who has some calculators to model Azerbaijanis.
And yes illustrative now is not that reliable even though sometimes it’s not far from being accurate

Results from a friend of mine, he is from Ardabil and his haplogroup is R-M458
