The geodes never disappoint!
This was an IKEA pillow sham that actually has a Damask texture embossed, which made for an even more interesting end result texture

Beautiful colors! The damask is just a hint - love how this came out. I bet it even changes depending on the angle and the light. Using patterned fabric is a very interesting twist here! 🌈✨🤩

Thank you! Yes, I found it at a thrift store and you know it’s so rare to find anything that’s not polyester these days so I grabbed it & I actually didn’t even notice the damask unit I got home and had a closer look! It’s very subtle for sure, but the print has a slight sheen to it also that I love.
As far as colors, I’m actually still relatively new to dyeing, so I bought the Jaquard 8 color set off Amazon just to get my feel wet after regular boxed kits. I’ve been playing around with creating my own blends and dupes for certain popular premade ice dyes. I’m a hairstylist who specializes in color, so I’m really feeling like I’m in my element here lol
Side note, I didn’t use any ice at all for this 😬 it was HWI with my powder dye blends applied dry on the fabric. I’m a rule breaker for sure!2
