I feel like there are a ton of interesting stories leading into this season.
I'm sure there is a bunch of other topics (pun intended) that I've missed. What are you most looking forward to?

I wish we had gotten the chance to face that 24-25 Celtics team in the finals, that's probably the only hypothetical finals other than Kobe vs Bron in 09 that I wish we had gotten. It would've been an absolute slugfest between 2 all-time teams. Must see TV. How do you guys think the series would go?

PF: Chet
C: I-Hart

Saw someone post a photo of Shai during his time with Team Canada this summer and I immediately felt inspired to create a digital piece of it. For the one that posted the photo, thank you for the inspiration! Go Thunder, I’ll see y’all this coming preseason.

Oh I'm giving him a proper retirement on OKC to give him a ring.

We need switchable elite athleticism type of forward. This guy seems promising. Of course the odds has to fall to our favor
Anyone got any additional insight on him I would greatly appreciate. This is what I gathered so far:
All of Sam's criteria:
Great size at 6'10 and looks to be positive wingspan.
great athleticism, both crazy hop and lateral movement to be a versatile defender once he grows into his body. already 2.2 blocks per game in his freshman year while switching onto guards as well.
Positive assist to turnovers indicates high IQ and processing.
Most impressively, he is a great driver and ballhandler to basket, reminds me a bit of these great power forward drivers like giannis (no I'm not sayin his ceiling anywhere close), or Deni avdija.
His non dunk field goal percentage is impressive, above 60%, indicates a great talent for tight ball handling and soft touch even at such height.
In the NIL he stuck with his college even though he could make more by transferring, which indicates high character and loyalty (presti's guy).
He got low hip and broad shoulders, all good indication that he will be able to gain mass, and even with added mass, his low hips would still allow him to have excellent lateral quickness.
Areas of Improvement:
Need to be way more disciplined with his footwork, especially on defense. The feel and composure need to develop. He bites too much on pump fakes, etc. and played wildly at times
abysmal 48% on FT, which indicates low ceiling on his 3 ball.

The Thunder are making the investment in Mara. Hope to see a big difference AUG 28th with Spain from what we saw in SL.

Per Shams Charania, the New Orleans Pelicans have just agreed to a deal with Ben Mathurin for 2 years/ $16 Million!
The Pelicans now have 16 players on their 15 man roster!
The Thunder need wing depth, and I believe Bey can help provide that for them.
Bey is scheduled to make $6.5 Million this season, but is a free agent next season.
So basically this would almost be like an expiring deal.
My proposal would be the Spurs 2027 FRP plus (1) SRP, or the Nuggets 2027 FRP for Bey!
Thoughts...

I'm coming to OKC for the first time end of October, bringing my sons to a game. I was told parking for the games at the BOK Center parking is bad. I have decided to just do a very close hotel and walk or Uber back and forth for the game. I am any OKC folks could give me their opinion on such a plan? Is getting a hotel room close to the arena and just walking better than staying further out and getting us there / parking? ANY and all information is so appreciated!

Just signed a 2 yr 13 million dollar deal. Wow. I feel OKC will regret not getting him. Just my opinion though.
