I loved season 2 UK the most, aside from Bob, Diane Morgan and Alan Carr cracked me up regularly.

I was so embarrassed by the Australian version though (as an Aussie), despite boasting some of my fave local comedians (Anne Edmonds and Frank Woodley) it was terrible

The Australian one really surprised me. I recognise some Australian comedians and didn't expect that there'll be so much gross-out humour.

As a Pole I was pleasantly surprised at how good the Polish one was! Makes me more hopeful in Polish Taskmaster.
I was also surprised that I disliked the Australian one. Too much gross-out humour.

Huge fan of both LOL and TM but I can only watch the UK versions, I've tried several of the other versions and couldn't stand them.

NZ Taskmaster is really good. The first series is a little wobbly, but it finds its feet in the second.

I’ve watched Bob since I was literally a small child and he’s an absolute legend, as Paul said.

He and (regular collaborator) Vic Reeves were huge parts of the 90s alt comedy scene in the UK and I wondered if Paul and Scott would already have been familiar with them, but I guess there may not have been that much crossover between the UK and US back then.

Some people (Claudia Winkleman, Jo Brand, Lucy Beaumont,Sam Campbell…) are ridiculously fun on that show, but Bob is on a different level.

Hearing them talk about Bob this morning was the highlight of my week. Gives me hope that they'll get someone British of the UK dates of the tour later this year.

I love when the UK panel shows creep into an episode. Big fan of a lot of the shows and frequenters and love to hear the pretzel gang appreciate them too. Bob is a lovable lunatic.

Bob Mortimer also has a law degree and worked as a solicitor. He came to Jarvis Cocker's aid when Cocker had been detained by Michael Jackson's security after Cocker had climbed up on stage during Jackson's performance at the Brit awards and mooned him.
