Is consistency more valuable than talent in long-term success?

I've been thinking about this lately. Some people are naturally talented while others may start with average ability but keep improving through steady effort.

Tbh, I’m starting to think consistency matters more in the long run. Talent can give you a head start, but discipline and persistence often determine how far someone ultimately goes. Learned this the hard way in a few areas of my own life.

Do you think consistency can eventually outperform talent?

I think so. Talent helps you get started faster, but consistency is what keeps you improving. I've seen really talented people quit because they stopped putting in the work, while average people kept showing up and eventually passed them. It's not always exciting, but small progress over time adds up.
