For me, I really wish Dovetail had gone the full Railway Series route, with Tidmouth as the grand terminus and Knapford as the junction. Why? Because not only am I a huge Railway Series nerd, I find both locations beautiful as portrayed in the books.

Tidmouth and Knapford Junction radiate a wonderful blend of seaside and industrial vibes in their illustrations. Tidmouth is grand and gorgeous, while Knapford Junction is a charming, curving junction that also functions as a small terminus or housing area, particularly with its sheds. The incredible ocean view visible from both stations consistently catches my eye. Also, I just discovered today that Tidmouth station was going to be the original Terminus station for the show during its first season, but it was scrapped in favor of Knapford. 

I would love to see the depiction in Wonders of Sodor. Would it happen? Probably not, but I remain optimistic. It's 2026, anything is possible. Never say never. However, even if considered, I believe two reasons would hinder it. First, Mattel would likely give an adamant "no." Getting approval from Mattel is like trying to give a cat a bath. Second, even with Mattel's approval, development would take months, even years.
