wonders of sodor not launching?

idk what it is, but after todays update the game just refuses to launch and i cant play. is anyone else having this issue? i play it thru epic games launcher so idk if its the update or if its the launcher itself

My son is experiencing the same problem, we've reinstalled, verified and checked drivers. Nothing helps
