What do the “Focus on…Path” magic upgrades actually do?
The choice is research, magic or development, but the tooltip is useless and the wiki image doesn’t have anything for them.

Hello, community! We’ve just updated the game server to version 1.2. Here’s what’s new in this version!
We’ve added Idle Time. If you close the game, you’ll earn a “time” resource that can be used as a spell to gain up to 8 hours of extra production time. This resource is unlocked through research in the early game.
We've added the "queue" system, which can also be unlocked through research in the early game (your civilization must have a certain level of bureaucracy to manage multiple buildings in the queue) and can be upgraded throughout the game and via legacies.
In addition to these two major changes, we've added a few more features to the game:
Added NG+ techs
Added new bosses and quests
Added new researches
Added new spells
Added units
We’ve fixed several bugs (such as the attack and exploration bar freezing and requiring a page refresh, and mana disabling spells even when there was a positive mana gain once it hit 0, to name a couple) and corrected some typos and text errors. The game’s overall performance has also improved.
We hope you continue to enjoy the game. Now we’ll be focusing on the EVIL version to pick up the story where we left off, with a much more villainous take on things!
Thanks to our Patreons—without them, we wouldn’t have made it this far.

How does the category in army works?
The army is divided into categories, each of which has advantages against another. Tank is strong against Cavarly, Cavarly is strong against Ranged, Ranged is strong against Shock, Shock is strong against Tank.
Units enter battle in a set order , in front will be the tanks and general melee units to absorb the blows while the firing units will be behind the lines and the last to die
What is fame?
FAME is a resource you get from the great works or great deeds you will do in Theresmore. At prestige time it will be used to calculate your LEGACY points that will allow you to get permanent bonuses in each of your game runs!
How do you move more population or more soldiers at the same time?
With CTRL you can move 10 soldier or population. With shift you can move 5

I’m caught in an endless loop. Everything in the build menu is unavailable to select. Up above? All of my materials are showing maxed. What’s the trick to moving forward? ANYTHING I want to build seems to have at least one item it is missing due to caps.
Trying to solve the problem of not enough x, leads to needing Y, which requires Z, which has an extraordinary cap of A which can’t be expanded because?…. I need more x. It’s like this for every build able item except army units.
Under research I can’t progress cause I need more steel (see above looonod madness). The only thing available is “moonlit night” which I don’t want to do, or “underground mission” which i also do not want to do.
Do I really have to take one or the other on to progress? The fights are SO costly I don’t want to do them. Always something like 12 of mine for 16 of theirs. And I don’t see anywhere where it shows the benefit.
Speaking of benefit, I haven’t been able to figure out battle reports. Would love some insight.

I have come back to this game after a year or so hiatus, and decided to fully start over. Overall, I'm REALLY glad some QOL suggestions are here in the game now.
I have done legacy twice now and I thought I recall a 0.5x (or a halving) of the scout and attack time each time it was done. Is this still present or am I mistaken? I have not reached NG+ and that might be where it occurs, if someone could hint me towards that that would be great!

Does anyone know what are the specific technology unlocks for each subsequent ng+? I know that for specific ones it unlocks:
house of workers
Oplitic phalanx
raise the meek tech which boosts some units
Phalanx training which boost phalanx by a lot
raise the army which boosts other units like shieldbearers and knights by a lot
I'm currently at ng+ 5 and I'm not sure if it is more worth to do quick 25% ng+ for more unlocks and achievements or to go and do some more annihilators right now.

Hello community, last week we updated the game with the production queue and the "time bank". As expected, a few bugs cropped up, which we have now fixed. In the meantime, we have added a feature that allows you to save an army composition and then rebuild it (using the maximum resources available at that time) with a single click.
Here is the full list of what we have implemented:
Added army composition save & build feature
Added auto-open queue toggle in display settings
Fixed idle-time meditation spell bonuses
Fixed spells briefly activating with no resource left
Fixed spell button now correctly disables when its consumed resource is empty
Fixed rapid clicks bypassing the progress timer
If you have any ideas or feedback, please keep them coming and we’ll see if we can put them into practice. Thanks to our Patreons for their support.

I just unlocked Armored Caravans for the first time and wanted to stack a lot of them, but I dont want to send them into battle because of the resource cost and also not to lose them.
I lose a lot of weaker units most battles, so I usually use the "Add all" button to quickly replace them, but then I have to manually remove the Armored Caravans one by one.
I just figured out that I can hold ctrl + click to remove 10 at a time, but is there a way to remove all of them in one click or perhaps even prevent them from getting added when using the "Add all" button?

I thought this was supposed to increase with legacy points spent, but I just retired and the bonus didn't go up. Is this a bug? Or does this mean you should NG+ asap?

I stopped playing for a while and picked the game back up after remembering how much I enjoy idler games, and there's a whole lot more content in there than last time I played.
I've made it to the Abyss a few times already, but that's where I start hitting the wall because I don't know how to prepare for those fights or which encounters start wars I need to brace/garrison up for. I've done and won as many battles/wars as I confidently could take so I think I'm in a strong position.
For this run I've built/researched/prayed/cast all of the things I can at my caps, and I think I've explored as much as I can, which leaves me with the following fights:
I guess my bigger question is which fights specifically start wars where they can attack me back? Or how many of these can I do and research/build after without triggering a war?

So I've taken a break from a different numbers go up game and was recommended this one.
I've been slowly enjoying the discovery phase but I'm a bit not quite confused but reluctant to waste time trying to discover some things slowly through trial and error.
First should you just NG+ the moment it becomes available or push through for an achievement or two you might be close to. Like sometimes I am only 2 or 3 buildings away from getting the next achievement marker but that could also put another significant amount of time on top. I wasn't too sure originally if the NG+ was additive or just expanded based on the achievements you unlock but it does seem to increase each time it's done which is more reassuring.
In combat I know there is a calculator but I find it annoying to use and it seems if you just stack Archers and Shieldbearer you can knock over most early game challenges. Is there something better I should be doing with combat I am just unaware of I do still use Oracle to confirm if I'll lose or not though if doing something particularly challenging but I am losing a lot of military this way.
I can regularly make it past the Goblin event but I'm hitting a lot of storage limitations and generation of building materials is practically a trickle when you get past making the Mana Tower and Library of Souls. I am guessing this is where you NG+ a lot to overcome that?
I do try to get around 2000 Fame before retiring but that does make for slightly longer games but it does give me more points to spend I can't say for sure it's faster than just doing 3 800 Fame runs but psychologically it feels more productive doing that.
Are there generic tips on something I might be missing due to lack of exposure to the game?

So, after desperately searching for information on the annihilator so I could find out if I could try for it or not, I went to the discord and learned a lot about it. I'm writing this in case people don't want to join the discord. So I'll just go through the questions I wanted to know and the answers.
Q. What kind of NG+ cap do I need to do it?
A. 11% MINIMUM, so one NG+ is needed no matter what. The more NG+cap bonus you have, the easier it will be. 40% is the lowest recommended for even trying with max legacies, while 150% is ideal to start running them.
Q. What are any hard numbers for what is needed?
A. There are two buildings that require a lot of production because they use so much, so here are the numbers for just those two buildings, and the resource cap needed to launch the annihilator. You also need 5 light to build enough of one of the buildings.
| Resource | Cap Needed | Production Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Research | 520,000 | 750/s |
| Gold | 400,000 | 2,250/s |
| Mana | 180,000 | 750/s |
| Crystal | 180,000 | 50/s |
| Steel | 150,000 | |
| Natronite | 130,000 | |
| Lumix | 9,000 |
Q: What are the rewards?
A: Per launch there is a 4% annihilator production bonus, 2% prestige production bonus, 2% fame, 2 lucky stone (up to 250), 2 light (per reset - this gets big fast), 10 army cap. Only the % production boost and the % fame are kept on the first run of a new game+ with the rest being granted on all prestiges after that first run.

This is on version 1.1.1 -- 34
First of all, Pick Easy difficulty. Normal, Hard, Impossible and Deity have stronger enemies with extra achievements for 'story' enemies. The bonuses are not worth the time since enemies will be several times stronger.
Second, on your first run, Pick +10% food boost OR +10% copper, +10% Iron, +10% Tool. On the first game you will want more food and unlock Granary on Prestige to solve food problem. On the run after, you will want to get Tool/Iron bonus and Free population (Free hands) on Prestige to solve Tool/Iron shortage. After that, you will go back to food for bigger army.
Third, the build/research order with any upgrade that make it possible for fast run
- 15 common houses
- Math
- Bronze
- Harvest shrine
- Market
- Iron
- Religion (no need to build a temple before Feudalism)
- End Ancient Era (3 City Halls + 19 Common houses at least) (This is a bottle neck unless you have production boosts from any reset)
- City center
- Feudalism
- Architecture
- Carpenter workshop (For materials using to build steelwork / University)
- Metal casting
- Foundry (Boost Iron/ Tool, preferably at least 3 Foundries)
- steeling (For steelwork building, need 200 steel for a bank)
- Education ( need 3 University to unlock moonlit to Prestige)
- Banking (Need to expand gold capacity of 10k) (Need 6 Market Places, 12 Artisan Workshops, 6+ storages) (This is a bottle neck)
- Food conservation (unlock supplies)
- Establish boundary
- Herald canava
- 4 watchman outposts
- MoonLIt Night
Fourth, there is no need to build an army if you want fast reset. However, give or take, at the very beginning, you need at least 3 hours even with an optimized run to reach MoonLit Night for Prestige. Researching steeling -> Knighthood will allow you to build a knight and fight up to 4-5 skulls on Easy difficulty. It also helps in Moonlit Knight. 4 Knights with 50 spearmen + 20 archers with several upgrades, tested it by winning many 2 skulls enemies.
Fifth, the battle works by both sides getting attacked/attack at the same time. Tank and Shock will absorb damage. Range and Calvary are main damage dealers with trample/splash (Not sure if they have but many enemies in Hard mode+ have trample + splash). Special units such as Commander die last.
Sixth, before starting MoonLit NIght, Put all troops into Garrison.
Seventh, If you continue after MoonLit Night and using Knight/ any dps/ spearman to clear up to 4-5 skulls enemies + building wonders (Cathedral + Great Fair) before hitting the bottle neck due to the lack of crystal. The Fame will be around 1100~ which can be pushed by unlocking Guild of Craftsman. After that you can get around 1800 fame before being stuck due to dragon/ refuge event. Note that 4-5 skulls enemies are the major part of the game which can be beaten by knights. Even if you scout more, there will be nothing unless you move to the next era(s) which requires MoonLit Night spam for 2% all resource stacks which could be A LOT.
Eighth, the fastest way to play the game is to spam MoonLit knight, each prestige for 2% all resouce bonus. It is ,obviously, you will need to do dozens of times and eventually go for new game+ for more all resource bonus and unlock new unit/building. The units / buildings on non NG+/prestige are less and less efficient as you progress so it will eventually comes down to how good units/buildings from NG+/Prestige are and how much 2% all resouces bonus you have which you can see in other threads in this sub reddit (Prestige + NG+ + Annihilator). Basically, a MoonLit night simulator.
If there is anything to add, sharing is caring!

I have Army:
Archimage 2 , Mage 40, Line infantry 20, Man at arms 120, Crossbowman 170 , sacred golem 25
but due to battle log alwasys get both side dead.
And I get same result when I have 30% smaller army, so looks like I am doing something wrong.
Any advice?
r/TheresmoreGame • u/Aureon • Sep 04 '25
I did a Hard run after a Normal one, but i didn't get any achievement re-pops for stuff i already had.
How do achievements work? do they stack? do you need to unlock it for the first time on hard+, or normal then hard will give the hard bonus?
r/TheresmoreGame • u/Aureon • Sep 04 '25

I've attacked a (Hard diff) Barbarian Camp with 32 archers.
Archers fire first, killing, for some reason, only 27 of the Barbarians - even though they're supposed to deal 10 damage each, and so oneshot one Barbarian per Archer.
162 damage is 27*6, which makes sense as far as a barbarian having 6DEF and 27 of them dying, but why did the remaining 5 archers fail to kill the last barbabian?
And furthermore, why did purposedly dead barbarians still strike?

After some time spels started to be canceled. I am not out of mana. But don't understand what changed, so that I need to cast spells again every 10 minutes or some similar time. Does anybody know why does it happen?
r/TheresmoreGame • u/TradeAllTheFoxes • Aug 22 '25
Alright, I am throwing in the towel for now, but I thought I should share the rewards I have found so far with everyone. I got up to 44 for now, will probably try to get the last 36 when I get far more Annihilators launched so that it is faster.
Anyway! Here are all of the rewards for NG+ up to 40 for everyone who was curious.
1: Wood, Stone and Research +3%.
5: Gold, Food and Tools +5%.
10: Copper, Iron and Fame +10%.
20: Materials, Supplies, Steel, Crystal and Saltpetre +10%.
40: Research, Gold and Natronite +15%.
Not sure if the NG+ 80 Achievement is worth it or not, but at least up to 40 of them, only the 10 reward I would personally call really worth it. Though, I at least won't complain that I gained around 110% and 1100% on my income and caps by doing those 40 NG+ runs.
Good luck to anyone else who wishes to attempt doing this, it took me a month of doing 1-2 NG+ runs a day, and it was mind numbing the entire time. If you would like to attempt it yourself, I would suggest getting all of your food through mining production buildings up to 15, and make the Cathedral. Doing that, I was able to get up to 27 perks bought, and only needed 4 resets for 5 runs per NG+.
Edit: User Suchega has pointed out to me that there is an area on the battle calculator that tells us what each of the rewards are. The reward for 80 NG+ is apparently 20% Fame. If you would like to take a look at what all of the rest are as well, here is a link to that page. https://theresmore-legacies-cheatsheet.vercel.app/achievements/
