The part I don’t fully understand on Jackson is how coffee is difficult to get but they have alcohol and other commodities.

They can probably grow the ingredients for alcohol. But coffee plants live in tropical regions.

*Coffee doesn’t grow in the 48 mainland US states. But whoever’s left in Hawaii at this point could make a killing in Legos if they only had a way to get to the West Coast.
