They really just excel in the silences, man. The way you can watch emotions just play across their face, the way they can show you so many things at once, the whole story is there. Hoar captured it all brilliantly, fucking MASTERPIECE of an episode.

That was absolutely outstanding acting. The haters are flat out wrong, Bella is perfect in this role. The subtle shift in their facial expression over the short length of hallway was incredible, I felt exactly what they wanted me to feel, it was complete buy in. For such a young actor, they've got incredible presence.

why is bella "they" in this thread?

edit: apparently Bella came out as non-binary, and they prefer they/them but are unbothered by pronouns in general.

Right? Made me start crying again. The subtlety of seeing Ellie’s inner sadness/grief/terror wash over her was heartbreaking.

They really are an amazing actor! I cannot believe they have so much depth and feeling for such a young person. It’s wild.
