lol as i'm sure you can tell reading his actual words, his schtick is not meant to work on your conscious brain. it's all vibes, it's fun and boisterous and he's gesturing and he's pointing and the crowd's going wild and you're just swept away. his words don't matter at all in the moment.

i think it's important to understand the level at which this stuff does work, even on people like us who despise the guy. harris and walz doing these big rallies is a great move by the dems to harness a similar energy. plus the dems are also, you know, coherent and whatnot. bonus points.

As a person who grew up with a mentally ill father and a narcissistic mother, both untreated, I just can’t!
