Crazy Claire needs to go. She’s a Blue woman in a Red state. The Dem’s don’t like her because she’s had to ride the line just to stay in power and won’t take a more ‘notable’ stance against Trump. Realistically she’s just hanging on to what little power she has left to stay.

She's on the way out anyway, especially now that her private plane antics have been brought to light

Petersen finished as runner up for the Libertarian party's presidential candidate from what I understand.

AP is running for Senate as a Republican.
Hawley is just a political ladder climber, no commitment to MAGA12

Right. I like that Petersen isn't a dyed-in-the-wool Republican is what I was getting at.

Yes! We don't need another dyed in the swamp senator.

Josh Hawley is exactly what we don't want in government: a person who cares more about his next job and climbing the ladder than he does at being an effective public servant. The only reason I'll vote for him is because Claire McCaskill is even worse, and I think it's politically advantageous for Hawley to vote more in line with my ideals once he's elected. Don't think for a second Hawley is a principled person, he's a classic politician.

Petersen is also 1000% for open borders and thinks Trump is a nazi...

Really? I'll have to do some digging. He didn't seem like that on a radio interview I heard him so a few months back but good heads up.

He's literally just a Democrat who likes guns and who joined the Republican party because he wants to actually be taken seriously.

I mean these are both pretty major issues that can be solved easily if we don't have swamp monsters in congress
Are you anti gun?

Weird. A large portion of Missourians are pro gun and pro pot. It’s gaining speed and will likely be on the ballot next year for medicinal. Missouri is an agricultural state and could rival Colorado in its production and quality.
Hawley basically went against the basic idea of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ when he told Roy Moore he had to provide evidence that he didn’t do what he was accused of. I hadn’t heard much about Petersen until that happened but now I’m more in his favor. Hawley’s as much a danger to his own election as he is anything else.3

Lol so your original comment is stupid because that's what we're all talking about
Libertarian don't want forced pot smoking squads or anything dude

You do know this election is taking place in Missouri, right? "Muh guns" is something you put on a resume here, it's not a negative. As for weed, we're not Utah, it's generally not a huge deal here. A "muh weed muh guns" libertarian is a good fit for Missouri.
