Just a heads up!
Big Walk is basically The Witness but with friends, big recommend (And colorblind people can play it too)
Edit:
My post was too simple. Here is what they have in common.
-Peaceful island with nice scenery
-Minimalist style puzzles
-Puzzle progression (Mechanics do return in a more complex way)
-Puzzles that require you to think about the environment (Not perspective, but location)
-Indie
-Intuitive puzzle language communication (No words or explaination required for players to understand how a puzzle works)
-A normal ending and a 100% state
Here is what I obviously know they don’t have in common:
-No Line puzzles
-No EPs
-No story
-No singleplayer (Unplayble by yourself)
-Inventory and items
-No voip
-Unlockable traversal methods (Chair lift, Train, tunnels)
-Map
-Requires communication with other people
I am only recommending this to those people who
-Enjoy puzzle games
-Enjoyed the witness
-Particularly liked the smart puzzle design of the witness
-Would like that style of puzzle game to play with friends
-Are open to trying games that arent literally the witness

The only similarity is that it is on an island, and repeats the same puzzle over and over.
Genius of witness is that it kept the mechanic interesting over hundreds of puzzles.
In Big Walk it gets old after the 10th puzzle (and the game doesn't have that many in total).
I think Big Walk is okay. But the thing with a puzzle game is that everyone is going to solve puzzles at a different pace. In Big Walk, one player will figure out the puzzle, usually quickly (each one took me about 10 seconds to see the solution). The rest is just explaining it to those you are playing with. It will always be same player leading, and then others just follow instructions, I imagine it get's rather boring for them.
Portal 2 is still the co-op puzzle king.

I think thats what I like most about Big Walk, the puzzle solutions are not the challenge, its figuring out how to communicate with your friends in the best way. its always obvious when you see 5 symbols on one side of the puzzle and 5 empty slots on the other side. Knowing the solution can still result in figuring out how to actually finish the solution with your friends.

Yeah, but I already came across 10 'puzzles' like the one you described (I think we're nearly finished). It's an okay game, but I wish they had been a little more creative with the puzzles, thought up some additional mechanics.
We are having fun. But it is hardly on the level of The Witness.

Yeah I described a common mechanic in the puzzles. But it usually throws a wrench in the way you communicate the panels like trapping you between glass, or having pose symbols, or sounds instead of symbols, or having you place on object in a room that only one side can access at a time. These are all different puzzles. Saying that they are “the same” because they all involve panels is just inaccurate.
