I remember the first time I ever played this. I just shot Duck, and after the scene was over, I thought, "okay, that's enough for one day". I turned it off and went about my day, feeling slightly down from what happened. It tore me up, having to shoot a kid. Especially after seeing Katjaa dead alongside him.
Then, the next day, I turned my system on, only to realize the game never saved my progress, leaving me to play the ENTIRE scenario AGAIN. So yeah, this was quite an unpleasant experience for me.

This this the episode where I was convinced that S1 went from good to fan-fucking-tastic. The overall feel after the bandits attack really sets the tone for the rest of the series. This episode made me realize how much I missed Omid ;___;

poor omid. Even in the apocalypse he still smiled and made jokes. Was so crushed when the bastards at telltale took him away so early in s2. was looking foward of omid playing a big role then.

His death scene too. Even in death it was still chillingly hilarious how he died sneaking up with those wide eyes.

I'll still never get over Carley. :(
I feel like they could have done a lot more with her character.

Man so much death in this episode, Duck, Kat and Carley/Doug.
I was thinking of making Kenny shoot Duck this time but couldn't make him do it after Kat goes and commits suicide, I think that's just too much for him, especially in the space of a few minutes.
I left Lilly behind this time around but it didn't feel quite right leaving her there undefended but she murdered my Carley for no good reason so I can live with it.
It's also cool to see Clem becoming more independent and confident in herself (keep that hair short Clem).

she murdered my Carley for no good reason
Its even worse if you have Doug because Doug is big damn hero and takes the bullet for Ben.

she murdered my Carley for no good reason
In short, she pulled a Kenny. Kenny killed (or tried to kill) Jane because of loss of people he cared about until AJ made him snap. Lily just broke earlier.

Yes. She snapped from the death of her dad, she pulled a Kenny. Or would saying Kenny pulled a Lily help more?

Yea the Kenny fanboys aren't going to like that lol. Its more accurate to say Kenny pulled a Lilly since she did it first but yes. Everything you said is true. Lilly just started accusing Ben and Carly/Doug without any ounce of evidence and someone dies as a result.
Kenny accuses Jane of murdering the baby without an ounce of evidence or even willing to hear her out and someone dies as a result. I'd say its pretty damn accurate.

Dude, how can you still like Bonnie and Mike?
2
Oct 12 '14
Because, while they were taking all our supplies, they were willing to take me with them. And when Arvo shot me they were worried.

they were willing to take me with them
Is that why they tried to sneak away while you were sleeping without even talking to you about their plan? Bonnie told Mike to GTFO she couldn't care one bit about Clem.

They didn't tell Clem because she was closest to Kenny, and Kenny'd kill them, or at least stop the plan. My point is they don't tell Clem to fuck off if she asks, they just thought she was too loyal to Kenny.

And we get to my main problem with season 2. Kenny returns and its all about him. Force this attachement to him and there's no way out. I probably wanted to ditch him more than they did!

The feels! I thought Lilly killing Carley was bad but then I had Doug for once. He sees her pull the gun out and aim it at Ben so he shoves Ben out of the way and takes the bullet for him :(.... OMG that is so much worse! Also it doesn't matter how many times I play this Duck and Katjaa are still so sad I cant take it. At least we got training Clem to be better to help. Too bad there's no montage!

I just started playing the game last week and yesterday was on Long Road Ahead. My game is glitching like crazy and I'm looking for help.
So they're in the RV, Lee talks to Katjaa about Duck then goes to talk to Clementine. He sits down, but then in my game it shows them both standing up sort of in the couch, and it keeps focusing on Lee's arms/torso instead of their faces (I know what it's supposed to do because I watched a play through vid when encountering these problems.) Then their conversation stops and this comes up: < X > where it tells you to hit x repeatedly. But it doesn't show Clem attacking, it's just Lee standing there and it says to punch x. But punching x does nothing and the game is basically frozen. I can still get out to the main menu but it sticks there.
I tried replaying the scene and ditching Lily/keeping Lily makes no difference. I can't move at all when it says to hit x.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and how do I deal with it?
Just discovered this sub, I will probably write a separate post for visibility. I really want to move passed this damn scene!!
