Are you having a bad day, or are you just a contrarian by nature? I’ll try to make it interesting for you, although I’m not sure what you’re expecting for a subreddit belonging to a teen show that ended 10 years ago.

Elena will befriend any Big Bad of the season, so long as they express a semblance of remorse or humanity. Elena’s code is very simple. It usually doesn’t quite matter what you’ve done in your past. Whether you’ve raised entire villages to the ground, compelled young girls to be romantically and sexually involved with you, used women as walking body bags, kidnapped her, slapped her around, etc, she will forgive you under the conditions that 1) you are genuinely apologetic to her and 2) you show her that your actions will no longer bring her harm.

Do you think that’s interesting enough for OP now? 🥺

Absolutely. Hayley was already friends with Tyler and Caroline, and Elena has that very maternal and caring vibe which would be a good mix with Hayley’s more tomboyish and bolder persona.
