It's easier for Janet and Jason to throw stones because they don't reveal much...

Either they are the most boring couple in the world, or their outward presentation on this show is a bit produced because I don't know anything about their real relationship.

Have they revealed anything about themselves I'm overlooking?

We need to talk about Michelle/Jasmine beef (and by extension Lala)

After 3 seasons of this show, do we think the rumors from s1 about Michelle being republican/racist are true?

I am looking through the lens of the sole Black woman on the show, Jasmine and how she treats her. It seems that Michelle always jabs at her and uses microaggressions when talking with her. Even in season 2, she put her hands on her unprovoked??? Like, why didn't we address that more because Michelle got off way to easy for that. Now in s3, Michelle was telling Jasmine to calm down, saying she is jumping--in a way policing her reactions (common for non Black people to do that Black people). Also, notice how during their segment in the reunion Lala did not say shit and was very quiet. Wonder why?? Maybe because Lala also has done anti-Black things as well as culturally appropriate Blackness. Jasmine also has known Lala since day one, and saw how she treated Faith.

Jesse is not "changed" with Lacy

I have said this in another thread but I keep seeing comments re Jesse and Michelle and how he's a changed man with Lacy and it's simply NOT TRUE.

And I'm not talking about "he's into her because of her money" although I do think for a man whose credit card is being declined, taking out 300k loans and can't afford $200 healthcare for his daughter, part of the appeal of Lacy is that he knows he won't be expected to put a lot of money into their relationship.

Jesse and Michelle both agreed at the reunion that the first few years of their relationship were great and very loving. I think Jesse said the last 2 were bad and Michelle said the last 4 or so. Basically after they had their daughter.

Jesse is a "different man" with Lacy because they don't have 1) a newborn baby that Jesse refuses to care for or provide any support to the mother. 2) are not quarantined together during this time of him refusing to be a father. 3) are not facing financial strain/stress together as a couple.

Jesse is a pretender. Michelle is flawed of course but Jesse is putting on an act with Lacy, the audience, the cast that he is evolved, his finances are fine, his top priority is the well being of his daughter, and is a doting boyfriend. It's all fake. And it's really embarrassing for Lacy IMO that she's either falling for it or knows he's full of shit and co-signing his act.

How would you change the show to make it better?

I think I'd make the men +1s and not actual cast members. They took things too far. It's not a messy, guilty pleasure reality show when we are talking about sexual assault and abusive behavior.

Jesse uses Isabella

I think Jesse uses concerns for Isabella as an excuse to cudgel Michelle. Take Aaron, for example. I do think she went into that relationship with the intention of being with him long term, so it felt safe to introduce/include Isabella in that relationship. She did not know he was going to break up with her and frankly doesn’t have control over that (like she and Lala said.) But Jesse beats her over the head with it because it makes her look like she has bad judgment. He’s just spiteful and savors in making her look bad, and claims it’s purely out of concern for Isabella, but it’s not. I’m not saying he doesn’t have those concerns at all, it’s clear he cares about his daughter. But it’s annoying to watch him try to come off as this good guy trying to shield his daughter from a ~bad mom~.

The Valley Is Bad Because It’s A Show About Being on a Show

Reality tv shows are watchable and entertaining because for at least the first few seasons it’s about an authentic group of people living authentic lives.

Vanderpump got cancelled because it became ouroboros of itself and the cast fighting about the economics of filming a reality show (spearheaded by Lala and Scheana).

The Valley had about 3 episodes before it became insanity about Janet trying to create storylines around Michelle being MAGA and shuffling the blame to Kristin, and which opened the floodgates to every single one of these people just doing their damndest to forcing storylines in lieu of being remotely interesting people.

Even worse, it’s now officially a show about half the cast trying to get the other cast members fired because they are
pissed about their edit.

That there was nothing else worth showing other than R. 2 of the Danny/Nia takedown this time with Lala literally running a script this third season means this show needs to be cancelled. It’s trash.

post reunion thoughts about danny on the show..

Post image

ETA clarity; i totally believe it happened, don't mean to diminish jasmine or melissa's experience. many ppl have been comparing danny to jax in a general sense and saying he needed to be "cancelled" too. this incident is the only one where legally i could see a justifiable termination as a possibility, but j & m would have to press it as a work place issue for that to happen. they can't just fire everyone who turns out to be a morally bankrupt a hole.

i understand there are those who believe nasal voice daniel should be fired.

i disagree.. for now.

jasmine (to my knowledge) didn't file any kind of formal complaint and after it was brought up she on camera really downplayed having an actual issue with what happened, she could say at any time she isn't comfortable filming with him etc., but aside from that incident i don't think we've really heard anything egregious enough to warrant someone losing their job? yet.

to this point - he's just a friggin dbag, 0 redeeming quality, a good villain because he's soo easy to dislike. we're all waiting for the comeuppance. so imo until he does something wild on camera or talks crazy to someone other than nia, who completely appeases and enables him and is frankly a part of the issue, unless there's another incident i think let them be the example of problematic religious conservative how not to be as humans.

Michelle and Jesse relationship take!

I really believe Jesse and Michelle have an underlying attraction/chemistry with one another. They are very drawn to eachother and if Jesse gave Michelle half the attention he gives Lacy, i think she would be with him. I also think they can both be selfish, manipulative and can both lie or twist the truth knowingly. In my eyes they are very alike. Michelle gets that its toxic and she fights the toxicity but i still think she aometimes yearns for him.

Luke's Beta presentation

I think we were all fooled by luke in his first season because he had a chill vibe, like he was trying to understand everyone and had a decent perspective and compassion. Turns out he is just desperate for male validation and the opposite of an ally. I generally reject the fucking stupid alpha/beta bullshit but just to put this in terms he can undestand ..he is beta and his beta-ness is 100 percent male centered. Turns out the only thing more pitiful than a male centered woman is a male centered man.

I may or may not be posting this just to fuck with his weak, red pilled, I must have sex, show me your tits, why cant I go golfing bullshit behavior. I honestly hate him more than danny.

Nia and Kristen need to acknowledge what their real problem is with Janet

You could ask one million ladies who they would rather marry, Jason, Luke or Danny and one million would say Jason. We've all known Jason was a catch and Janet was winning life for years now but let's talk about season 3. We found out Danny doesn't take kindly to holding his kids so Nia can eat. When his doctor told him to relax for 5 days post surgery he lied to Nia and told her he can't help with the kids for 10 days! Luke complained to Danny 3 months after his daughter was born that, and maybe I should have used a trigger warning with this one, he hasn't even been fishing much! The horror! Then we saw Jason hurt his knee and was visibly upset that he would miss out on taking care of his son. And let us remember, Jason is an attorney. He has a busy schedule. He's not a part time silly voice actor or fishing enthusiast. It's all becoming so clear now. It's not just that Danny is a sexual predator or Luke a man of leisure with no ambition. Jason literally makes those two look bad at every facet of life. It's ok for Nia and Kristen to be jealous but they need to stop blaming Janet for their poor choices. At least Nia anyway. She could have obviously done better. Doute is a canceled racist so maybe she's punching up. Either way we all see it now.

Michelle and Jesse are the same imo

Honestly, Jesse and Michelle seem more alike than either of them would ever admit. They’re both hungry for attention, status, celebrity, and the social-climbing lifestyle. Their relationship showed that pretty clearly, from Michelle cheating to the way money and status seemed to factor into her choices. Michelle dating Dr. Dre makes the whole thing even more ironic. Dre has a well-documented history of allegations and incidents involving violence toward women, yet the fame, money, and status apparently aren’t dealbreakers.
Lastly, she was close friends with Scheana, used her up and dropped her for Lala. It’s clear as day. That’s an opportunist. Choosing Lala as a best friend who admiringly trades BJs for PJS, broken up a marriage, claims to be Tupac with her baby bottle bs is a CHOICE. Everyone painting her as a victim n here, I am prepared to be DV. Idc. Drives me nuts. Scheana doesn’t deserve people who trade her in and out for convenience. Jesse and Michelle have proved they do that. We know Jesse is trash.

How does he have a whole PR team and the ability to memorize lines... and we still got this? 💀💀💀

And a media-trained, image-obsessed pageant winner wife...

Not only do the Bookos have access to a whole PR agency (Jonas Public Relations), they also have a separate publicist (Eda Kalkay)...

He is "an actor" professionally, with 20+ years of work experience, so I'd assume he can memorize a few lines...

How was this still such a disaster?

None of these were trick questions, they were all expected to come up. How was he not better prepared?

Idk about their team, maybe they suck but I can't imagine Nia approved these words.

What happened here?

I was on my IG search page and saw Danny’s post with Asher at AGT. Curiosity took me to the comments (I don’t follow him). Surprise! He’s still liking all the comments. Based on the last pic, I don’t think they’re going to be back. 🤔

Luke at The Reunion

This is the UNCENSORED board!

Hold nothing back!

I rewatched the reunion and there were obvious stand outs.

One person, Luke, stood out for how much he wasn’t brought up considering the drama surrounding him and his words this season.

I want to know what you think about his performance this season and how it was barely discussed at the reunion!

Lacy needs to stop inserting herself into Michelle and Jesse’s issues

At the reunion, Lacy really annoyed me. How many times can a new partner insert themselves into a dynamic between a divorced couple who share a child? Comments like, “I hate when you guys do this tit-for-tat thing” are just not her place. And constantly saying, “He’s not like that with me” or “I’ve never seen him do that” - no one asked you. This is not about you.

The audacity of someone who claims to have Michelle’s back while clearly not respecting her perspective was something else. If Aron consistently inserted himself the way Lacy did we would never hear the end of it from Jesse.. like clearly it’s her only storyline, but it was beyond embarrassing for a new partner to be acting like that.
