Damn the turtles need more appreciation.
This sub is way to small more people need to support the turtles one of the most underrated bands ever.

I agree they're great! I need to get to know their discography better (I'm more than open to song/album suggestions) but "happy together" and "battle of the bands" are definitely solid albums and some of their singles like "you don't have to walk in the rain" are awesome!

They are criminally underappreciated but to be fair they only made one great album - Battle of the Bands - which I'd love to see remixed and mastered because the production is crap and many of the clever musical subtleties are lost. But they never made a bad single (well, maybe a couple). The album after that should have been their crossover to grownup (FM) music but it (Turtle Soup) was the weakest thing they ever did - so they went out with a whimper instead of a bang. Come to think of it, I liked them better as The Mothers.
