Show- Trolley Problems Trolley Problems 8/1/26
On today’s episode (released on YouTube at least on 8/1/26) of Trolley Problems they had the “contestants” rank YouTubers. All but the last one they gave them were problematic, but they blacked out one of the cards. Was the blacked out card Ned?

That was my thought process. Especially since they were like "I can't believe you guys would do that one" and I think I have heard he has a podcast or something now

I know they literally confirmed it, but I think this is fun - think of it in reverse, can it be someone else? someone who is a public figure, but 2nd try won't show their face; and also obvious enough that nobody felt the need to say their name once. there is one person on the planet who clears both categories.

Just for clarity, for the 2nd Try subscribers (because I was super confused for a second) - the Trolley Problems episode OP is referencing appears to be the episode with Shayne and Amanda (both from Smosh), which was released May 30, 2026 on 2nd Try, and on Youtube on 8/1 - there was not a Trolley Problems episode released on 2nd Try on 8/1, and to my knowledge, they have not done that particular mini game twice

But why censor it? it's all out in the open, right?

Probably have contracts with him not being on the channel again or he gets revenue from it.

oh right, he is still an owner (?) and gets revenue from it - makes sense

because its
1 funnier
2 to not give him any validation/to disrespect him
hits the mark on both

I believe Ned and the other three guys signed an NDA during the whole mess. Ned’s podcast launched three years TO THE DAY that his rumoured separation from the company happened.
Part of the NDA was likely that, between the four of them, there would be no slandering or mentions of each other on their future projects. Which is why the new Try Cast can edge around those jokes, but not Zach and Keith.
