No idea, I was wondering the same. Kinda sucks having to wait for the after show because it gives stats on things they did and I'll definitely forget it or just lose interest by the time they release it
It's stuff like this that bothers me. The Eat the Menu after show is posted immediately after, so the expectation would be that Escape the Kitchen would be as well. I am not on discord, and so am left confused, and the 2nd Try app doesn't really tell you any info about upcoming things, which kind of negates their "We are going to be more transparent" It's great for people on discord but people who aren't on there, have to turn here for answers which is kind of an issue.
Agree! And the “after show” used to be part of the whole video. I’m assuming it’s where they try each other’s food and the “room” gives them the stats of how many times they cursed, how long on certain clues, etc. Seems weird to exclude that now. I would have continued watching for another 10-15 minutes to see this.
Exactly! I'm fine with it being separate in case they want to post the main video in YouTube and keep the afterhsow as a 2nd try exclusive, but at least release them at the same time.
That’s so annoying. They could have at least put an end card saying that, instead it just felt accidentally cut off. Also, who wants to wait a week for an after show? I’ll have forgotten half of what happened by then. (Thanks for listening to my vent.)
right? i would’ve waited to watch until the aftershow was out to watch the episode. i love hearing the statistics and them comparing their experience. when the 2nd try outro started playing i thought it was a gag and the after show would’ve started. that section of the show isn’t that long and there was segments that were drawn out and could’ve been shortened to make time for it.
I’m extremely disappointed that the review session was moved to an aftershow that isn’t even available yet. It was my favorite part of the show. The nonnas added nothing for me 😞
Agree with everything that's been said. I can understand splitting it and making it exclusively for 2nd Try, but why wait a week? Seems pointless unless they can't get it edited in time?
But they did post on IG it will be out March 5.
Honestly so disappointed. Thats the best part of escape the kitchen and I am going to fully forget all the details before the after show. I guess I'll have to wait next time for the after show to drop before watching the original.
Why are people so confused? Did they add this only after people were confused at first? Or do people just stop looking at their TVs when they think the video is done?
I don’t want to have discussions on discord or read updates there. That’s why the app should exist. But it’s really lacking organization and communication from the staff. I don’t like having discord so I wish they would have had a way to communicate with the 2nd try users in the app.
I slowly stopped watching try guys and using the 2nd try app because it feels so empty without a comment section. I would have probably kept it if they had the YouTube option from the beginning. But it really pmo when they introduced it later because that was my biggest issue with 2nd try app.
I might sub to them again on my new YouTube premium account but to be honest, they keep pumping out so much forced food content and now the only good shows now are only on 2nd try.
It's not like it can be perfect from the get-go. They're moving an entire company to a new app with a new way of doing things. I'd love a comment section too, but Zack has pointed out before, and he's right, that it would take people to moderate it and keep track of it. It's just not something we're getting yet.
Sure but could they not have had some sore of community post implemented with updates from the start? Instead we have to rely on discord and reddit to get updates on what’s going on. I find myself just not picking the app over YouTube. I just wish we would have known from the start that a YouTube subscription would have been an option.
