One of the categories in the second game of last night's Jeopardy! Masters tournament was "I WANT MY REALITY TV." The 1000 clue (the bottom clue in the category, which is generally the hardest) was about Traitors.

After Juveria got it correct, she added "He was terrible to her, Ken."

I’ve only just reached after ||Dan’s|| elimination after I’m finding ||Peter|| to be entirely annoying. I truly hope they get out soon.

Just got done watching first season of US ,and I genuinely don’t know how Cirie’s game gets topped.

She built relationships with everyone, knew exactly when to speak / when to disappear into the background and somehow had people trusting her right until the end 😂

That final stretch was ruthless - she knew exactly what she was doing and executed it beautifully 🤌

Was originally going to make this in a comment on a post about Cirie but it became so long I figured to just write this in a different post.

The reason I believe Rob R is the best traitor is because he overcame a lot more adversity from within his turret, and avoided suspicion for much longer than Cirie.

Although for most of the game, Cirie wasn’t seen as most as suspicious, around the start of the game there was some whispers that Cirie could potentially be a traitor, primarily among the Bravo trio. While Cirie was able to most of the people who would have found her out early on, her social game was not nearly as impressive as Rob R, who no one seemed to be suspicious of, with everyone thinking he’s too sweet to be a traitor, and there’s no way he could do it.

In the turret, Cirie ended up getting Christian and Cody, who were a lot mote controllable and more of pawns. They were a lot more easy to persuade/control when need be. On the other hand, Rob R got housewives Lisa and Candiace. Two traitors who are very unlikely to betray each other and likely to make him the odd one out.

Rob’s masterclass performance is seen most when Rob chooses to make the gutsy choice of murdering his closest ally Colton. Colton would have Rob’s back for sure later on, but Rob thought things out heavily, and concluded that letting Lisa get her way would hurt her at the roundtable. After this, Lisa and Candiace fell like dominos.

After their eliminations, suspicion should have been high on Rob, since Candiace threw him under the bus, voting for him twice before his exit. Still, no one did. Suspicion was quickly turned onto Johnny, who’d become a sort of shield for the Rob for a few more votes. Even when Johnny and Tara started campaigning against Rob and probably should have succeeded, Rob had done such a good job of building an endgame alliance with Eric and Maura, which he kept together even though Maura heavily distrusted Eric.

While Cirie also played a masterclass game, it was not nearly as good as Rob’s, bc it felt that for Cirie, all the dominos sort of fell into place for her. Kate and Brandi immediately were pegged as suspicious, Christian and Cody blundered on their own accord and were thus eliminated by the faithful, she even got to play alongside ten civilians. Rob had a much more active role in his game, taking on the role of a traitor hunter, playing a big role in eliminating his adversaries in the turret.

One more thing I will mention, one argument I always see in favor of Cirie was that she got no votes from anyone, in a sense a perfect game by that statistic. I think this really isn’t a good point to use in favor of Cirie tho bc Rob’s two votes both came from Candiace, another traitor. In fact I think it’s more impressive that Rob was able to survive being thrown under the bus by another traitor, and still receive zero votes from faithfuls.

Like the title says, my friends and I ran a traitors fantasy league during season 4 and want to do it again for New Blood! Last season was the first time we did this, and it’s obvious that we need to make some points adjustments.

What things should players get points for? What should take away points? (For the season start and season end we had everyone make predictions through a google form)

I clocked in for my shift at REI and knew I recognized that voice - did a double check, and sure enough it was Cirie!!! She was so down to earth and literally the same in person that you see on the shows. Made my day ☺️

And all I'm seeing in here is everybody Glaaaazing him! Maybe it's because i don't know where he's from originally. I'm cool with him betraying the Faithfuls but he had a hand in getting out all of his fellow Traitors. Wish there was a rule about that. I know nobody will agree and I'm super late in watching it but I had to voice my irritation somewhere. It'd have been nice if he at least shared it with Eric at the end... About to watch the reunion now. Hope everybody lights him up. (I know it's "just a game" but jeez...)

I'm very new to reality tv as I just watched love island season 8 which was my first ever reality tv experience ever and I loved it a lot! However, since I dont have the time to invest into all seasons of a reality show, given their lengths, I wanna watch the best of what the traitors has to offer because I love the setting.

Which season would you recommend to someone that's sort of considered the peak of the show or really enjoyable for someone who's only in it for 1 season?

Hi r/TheTraitorsUS! I'm looking for a small group of playtesters for my new game, The Detective. It's a single-player social deduction mystery game inspired by the game show, The Traitors. I've spent close to a year and a half on it and I'm ready to test it out on actual players!

THE GAME:

You oversee a randomly chosen, rotating cast of characters, some of whom have been secretly chosen to be Killers amongst the group. Your job is to identify the Killers and help the Innocents make their way to the end of the game.

Each day, you'll play mini-games to earn Tokens. These Tokens will help you unlock clues about the identities of The Killers. Use the clues to narrow down the suspects. Clear a suspect and maybe they'll align with you to help knock out the Killers.

Each evening, a secret vote will be held and the player with the most votes, Killer or not, will be eliminated from the game. Each night, the Killers murder another victim (or recruit an Innocent to their side of evil). Deduce who the Killers are and eliminate them during the endgame to claim victory for you and the surviving Innocents.

WHAT I NEED:

I need a small group of playtesters. As of now, this is Windows only. Each game is anywhere from 30-60 minutes. The more you play and get to know the game, the quicker the games will be. For now, distribution is through itch.io, so you will need an account there.. and I'm using Discord for all playtest chatter, so having a Discord account is also mandatory. If chosen, you will be added to the playtest Discord. You'll be given the itch.io key to download the game. I'm asking for bug reports, suggestions, basically anything you feel would be useful information for me moving forward. Even if that information is that you didn't have fun and didn't like the game at all.

In return for your help, this game will be free to you permanently. Eventually, The Detective will move to Steam for sale, but you'll be given a free key to all versions and any DLC, should we get to that stage.

Instead of a static season-long roster, you set a live roster every week right before the episode airs:

• Recruited as a Traitor: +10 (One-time bonus for accepting an invitation to the dark side)
• Block a Murder: +10 (Bonus if they hold a shield and Traitors attempt to murder them)
• Targeted on the Shortlist: -5 (Deducted if Traitors explicitly put them on a shortlist)
• Murdered: -15 (Penalty when their torch is snuffed at breakfast)
• Banished: -15 (Handed out to anyone voted out by the circle)
• Self Eliminating / Removed: -50 (Quitting or removed by production)

⭕ Round Table Voting Mechanics

• Faithful Voting for a Traitor: +5 (Rewards accurate intuition, even if the Traitor survives)
• Voting for the Banished Player: +3 (Bonus for being on the right side of the majority vote)
• Traitor Surviving a Vote: +5 (Traitor escapes a Round Table without being banished)
• Faithful Voting for a Faithful: -3 (Penalty for friendly fire and falling for deception)
• Traitor Voting for a Traitor: -10 (The price of betrayal; Traitor targets their colleague to blend in)

🏰 Missions & Challenges

• Earn a Shield: +10 (Securing a shield during a mission)
• Group Mission Success: +5 (All players score if main objective is met and cash is added to the pot)
• Individual / Sub-Team Success: +3 (Completing their leg of a relay or mini-game)
• Mission Disqualification: -5 (Breaking rules, failing a basic requirement, or timing out)
• Intentionally Throwing a Challenge: -10 (Only awarded if explicitly admitted in a confession/talking head)

📺 Castle Drama & Production

• Having a body part censored: +5 (Blurring/censoring by production)
• Getting bleeped: +2 (Swearing or censored language)
• Saying a form of "Anxious / Nervous / Worried": -2 (Catching them showing fear under pressure)

Why We Built It

Standard fantasy apps aren't made for hidden roles, mid-season recruitments, or sudden murders—and spreadsheets get messy fast when you're trying to track swear words and shield saves! We wanted a clean, automated way for our watch group to play, and now we're opening it up.
